ConservaBlogs.com is the latest addition to the realm of network blogging. We use state of the art technology to maximize online awareness and superb internet marketing techniques that in time will begin pushing our content into search engine results and RSS readers worldwide.
Free Wordpress Blog Hosting
Our staff has extensive knowledge in Wordpress software and we’ve seen WP powered blogs surge in search engines over the past few months. With this new direction of web based communication it is very possible to build a network of political bloggers in time for the 2008 election season.
We believe Wordpress empowers bloggers to do things that hosted solutions like Typepad, Blogger, Myspace, livejournal and others simply cannot. At the same time, it costs money for Wordpress hosting and we understand that not everyone can afford to go that route.
Therefore, it is our belief that if we provide the vessel, our users will quickly set sail.
How can you do it for free?
It does cost us a few dollars a month to host your blog, not to mention time spent installing the software on your domain and setting up the databases needed to run the blog. To make up for this we display very small, relevant ads at the bottom of every blog.
Make no mistake, we do have an agenda. Our vision is to work our main page into the search engines in a manner that will produce quality, educated readers looking to communicate in a social environment where the debate of ideas is strongly encouraged.
From the homepage we will link to posts on user blogs, spreading our readership out through the network. If our calculations are correct, the user generated content on this site will have us seeing at least 5,000 to 10,000 visits a day by the end of 2007. As you can imagine, this number can be much greater by the time we are handed the challenge of making sure Hillary Clinton stays out of the Oval Office.
ConservaBlog is a project of Citizen Outreach. Citizen Outreach is a limited-government public policy organization dedicated to putting the “public” back in public policy.
Founded in 1992, Citizen Outreach is a non-profit, non-partisan organization which promotes greater citizen understanding of, and participation in, public policy issues at the federal, state and local levels.
We believe the Founding Fathers got it right when they created our nation. As Thomas Paine wrote: “The best government is the least government.” Or as Abraham Lincoln said: “In all that the people can individually do as well for themselves, government ought not to interfere.”
However, since those early days of our founding, government has become too big, too expensive and too intrusive in our daily lives.
Citizen Outreach represents citizens who just want the government to “leave us alone.” We agree with Ronald Reagan that “government’s first duty is to protect the people, not run their lives.” Or as the former president put it another way: “Government is not the solution to our problem, government IS the problem.”
Overall and in general, we support current public policies and public officials who embrace the governing philosophy articulated by the late Sen. Barry Goldwater: “I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size.”
Reducing the size and scope of government in the lives of the people is Citizen Outreach’s primary mission.
