Oh, and by the way… isn’t Ron Paul the candidate that says the Civil War in America shouldn’t have happened?

Ron Paul is a consistent opponent of centralized power. Of course he feels the civil war shouldn’t have been fought. Every other civilized country in the world was able to end slavery without a military invasion that killed more Americans than any war in our history.
Abe Lincoln was as racist as most of the South. Read Lysander Spooner for even a minute and you’ll see Lincoln was no opponent of slavery. Lysander Spooner was one of the most prominent abolitionists of that era, and, like almost all abolitionists in that era, he thought Lincoln was a scoundrel of a politician.
Don’t believe the garbage that tries to glorify the killing of thousands of innocents (white and black) by the Union Army.
And no I’m not from the South. Born and raised in Pennsylvania!
And no I’m not a racist; in fact I have adopted two black children, we have black neighbors who we love very dearly, and Walter Williams is my favorite economist.
Ron Paul is my choice for president in 2008!
