Fred Thompson Blog Mentions 04-02-07
3 April 2007I’m going to start doing a “Blog Mention” post a couple times a week. This is the first of them.
Enjoy!
Fred is the only one who could stir me from my electoral torpor. His mellifluous voice and soothing accent is like a cool cloth on a fevered brow. I’m fairly sure we’re for the same stuff too.
People with whom I speak throughout the nation seem enthused by Thompson’s potential run. I’m talking about former gung ho supporters of John McCain, who feel Thompson covers all the bases. Evangelicals with whom I’ve talked weren’t happy with any of the candidates. They are holding out for Thompson now.
It’s been a little while since I’ve ranked how the Presidential kandidates are doing here in Iowa, so today’s Six Pack look at the six most active kampaigns in Iowa. This Six Pack is very different than the last one; things are changing here in Iowa.
With more than 9,300 votes cast, Thompson was leading Rudy Giuliani 38 percent to 16 percent, with Mitt Romney in third place at 13 percent, followed by Newt Gingrich (11 percent), and Duncan Hunter and Tom Tancredo both at 5 percent. “None,” at 4.3 percent, actually was leading John McCain at 3.3 percent.
I know I didn’t get everyone. Unfortunately, I don’t have time to find every post, but I’ll do my best to scan a diverse group of blogs when I make these posts moving forward.

Thanks for the mention. I’ve added your site to my blogroll under “2008 Presidential Election.”
