I'm a single mom of two who has lived in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee all of my life. Fred Thompson has been such a big name in our county because we really haven't anything here to be proud of. Lawrence County can be such a wonderful place, it has so much potential but we have never had anything good happen to us here. I have been planning to vote for Hillary Clinton since she announced her candidacy but if Fred Thompson does in fact run I would highly consider voting for him, especially if he could give this little town some hope. I know being the President of the United States would be a huge responsibility and he would not have time for the little town he once called home but if there would be any way that he could do something for Lawrenceburg I know that this town would be behind him all the way. Lawrenceburg may be filled with just plain old folks, not cityfied people but regulars Joes but a few things Lawrenceburg does have is respect, integrity and a hope for a better place to live. Every town has its problems and yes we do have ours but those problems can be fixed. My hope is that Fred Thompson backs up his hometown and gives us some reconition. I know he hasn't lived here in a very long time but one should never forget where they came from. Now I'm not saying that he has or anything like that. I'm just a mom who has hope for her town. My prayer is that Mr. Fred Thompson could help give not only me but my fellow citizans hope for our town and our country because these times are very hard for both. I am very proud to be an American and pray that the person who fills the seat at the white house in 2008 is going to one who cares for us and our country. We deffiently do not need another self obsorbed president again! Fred Thompson God speed and please don't forget your friends and family from your hometown.
