Fred’s ‘No Silly Hat Rule’ — Charming Video

A light hearted moment on the campaign trail. The Thompson campaign visited a fire station in Waverly, Iowa where they offered a fir helmut to Fred. Obviously remembering the horrid Michael Dukakis funny hat debacle, Fred said he had a “no silly hat rule” that he was “about to violate.” But, Jeri came to the rescue and wore it for him. Fred told her she looked cute with it one! I’m sure she’ll make him pay later, ha, ha.

    Fred needs to be more aggressive. He needs to stop letting the other guys steal the limelight. He needs to get on the offensive. He seems too laid back right now.
