H/T to Denis Goddard at Free State Blogs for this. It’s not enough to make me vote for the guy, but it is enough to take the edge off when he gets “out there”! With all the talk about campaign songs and all the silly tunes penned to honor a candidate this year (I’m looking at YOU, Obama Girl) it was a nice find running across this tune supporting Ron Paul. It’s a great Jazz frame with an inoffensive rap lyrical style. It’s just a tad long at about 5 minutes. But it’s good enough that my 9 year old son leaned over from his computer and asked me, “What is that song dad, it’s really good?”

And so it is … but I can’t figure out what’s up with the subliminal, hidden, not very noticeable, have to look hard for, I’m-not-really-sure-it’s actually-there message on Global Thermonuclear Devastation. Are they quietly suggesting that the world will disappear in a nuclear fog if Paul IS elected or if he ISN’T?

Enjoy!
