Coming soon to an American street near you, car that travels 125 miles on $3.00 worth of fuel. The power source? Air - specifically, compressed air. Top speed is about 70MPH, too. It’s not just on the drawing boards, it appears it’s on a few roads!

I’m not really a big fan of Hannah Montana, either. However, I can think of several other legal ways to try and shut down one of her concerts that doesn’t involve mass death and general mayhem. It seems there’s not enough odd people in Nashville already, they’re now flying in here themselves. **sigh**

Wait a minute … I thought appeasement worked. I mean, that WAS the reason Spain pulled its troops out of Iraq after terrorists blackmailed them into rejecting the incumbent government a couple of years ago, right? The challengers promised to pull Spanish forces out of Iraq but the incumbents disagreed. Four Spanish trains, 191 dead Spaniards and over 1,800 wounded Spaniards later, the citizens of Spain voted for pulling out. The new government kept its promise. And THIS is how those pesky terrorists choose to repay the appeasing voters of Spain. Ya’ just can’t trust some people to stay bought off!

Bomb making, while theoretically doable by anyone, realistically isn’t. It takes a certain type of person to craft the IEDs being used against US and Coalition forces in Iraq. Thus, along with discovering and deactivating the IEDs before detonation, the US has put a lot of effort into discovering and deactivating the IED makers. The guys tasked with doing this work are a part of the Combined Explosive Exploitation Cell - CEXC, or “Sexy,” for short. In a place where **cough** business is booming **cough**, they’re having some success.

The question of the day is, who does the GOP prefer to run against in November, Mrs. Clinton or Obama? I’ve maintained that Mrs. Clinton will be easier to beat and so Obama will likely be the nominee. Why do I think Mrs. Clinton would be the better GOP opponent? Because she fractures the ranks of those who would normally support a Democrat. If 30% of the electorate won’t vote for a Democrat under any circumstance and another 10% of the electorate are Democrats who won’t vote for Hillary, then the GOP just needs 10% from Independent and other Democrat crossovers plus 1 vote to win. Oh, wait … it’s the Democrats who think the election should be decided by popular vote … but you know what I mean!

Wow, that car might be worth flying to India and transporting it back.

In referrence to the IED detectives; it is too bad that the “wusses” stopped the planting of faulty bomb components that would have led to the deaths of a good number of bombmakers thus saving more of our troops. With the CEXC detectives finding out more about who is making the IEDs it would be easier to plant faulty materials where they could be pretty sure a specific bomb maker would receive them. I think in wartime like now it is immoral not to use every opportunity to kill more of the enemy and save more of our troops.
