I’ve been too long remiss in doing this and I thought today would be a good day to correct my laziness. Especially since I’m about to get in the car to drive and meet this guy and his wife. Which guy?

Why only one of the best homegrown, Tennessee, political cartoonists around! He features a lot of military references and the setting is uniformly military. But the subject matter is way more diverse. The cartoon site is affectionately known as ‘Delta Bravo Sierra” and you can go there and see the stuff the guy behind the scenes, DBS, pens. You can do that every day or, if you blog, you can do what I did and put a widget on your site that displays the most recent cartoon everyday.

In my case it’s in the left sidebar to the right of this, near the top of the page and just below the VodPod widget. Lest you think our intrepid cartoonist is alone in the world and pouring out his angst and loneliness is spasms of cartoonical goodness, DBS is just doing his part. He is accompanied on his “doing his part” journey by the equally intrepid Mrs. DBS who blogs at ‘Knee Deep in the Hooah’. Check out this family’s contribution to the online world of activism.
