From the guy who gave us last week’s viral video “Burning Down the House” (1Million+ views), comes another great piece of YouTube goodness.   Democrats in the House, many of whom are playing major roles currently in both defending the Democrat’s involvement in the implosion of the housing market and blaming the GOP and the Free Market for the financial woes, are simply shown here talking about how wonderful Freddie and Fannie are.  This at a time when the GOP was calling for investigation, oversight and change at the agencies.  These people have no shame!

Congressman Meeks is not likely facing an opponent in November–too bad ’cause he’s “pissed” that regulators deigned to question Fannie Mae’s solvency.

One thing I don’t understand (like there is only one) is why isn’t Bush & the GOP defending themselves and publicly laying the blame for this whole mess at the Democrats’ feet where it belongs.

From day one Bush has bent over backwards to try and get along with the Democrats and day in and day out for 8 years they have responded by bashing his head in (e.g. Pelosi blaming Bush on the House floor before the failed bailout vote); and he just keeps on taking it. For a rough and ready, hot-shot Texas cowboy, Bush sure fights like a girl (apologies to Ann Coulter) It would appear that Bush has traded his Stetson and six-shooter for a bonnet and dolly. (wish Ann would let W borrow her testicles for a while).

And sadly, McCain is just as bad. Thank God for Rush, at least he keeps on telling it like it is.

Well, when you find the answer to that question, come back and I’ll let you guest post it. The rest of our inquiring minds are intensely curious as well!
