Much has been made of the Democrats 50 state strategy to win the election.  Who knew there was a fall back 15 state strategy to steal it if they couldn’t win it?

Americans who haven’t heard about ACORN and voter fraud haven’t been paying attention. Some have been hearing about it for years. Others are just now hearing after waking up to find elections upon us once again. Seems like every couple of years there’s an election and whenever there is, there’s talk about people trying to steal it.

This year is no different. But for the first time, the fraud seems massive and everywhere.  And most all the fingers are pointing at ACORN.  They are political activists, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now. According to Wikipedia, ACORN ” … is a community-based organization that advocates for low- and moderate-income families by working on neighborhood safety, health care and other social issues.” Wikipedia has frozen further edits to ACORN’s page because people can’t agree; according to others, ACORN is a Liberal group committed to electing Democrats by any means possible, legal and illegal.

Prior to 2008, while ACORN was a player in terms of voter fraud, there wasn’t much to report.  My first memory is South Dakota from 2002. This year ACORN is under scrutiny in over a fourth of America’s 50 states.

According to the New York Post and numerous other sources, 15 states are looking into ACORN for possible voter fraud. There’s just one problem, I can’t find 15 from this election cycle.  I can only find 13!  I looked but no one reporting the 15 state figure backed it up.  A bit of light was shed when I found a comment making the tally 15 “since 2004″.  Not quite the felonious total first reported, but why quibble over a couple of states.  A count of 13 still means in 2/3 of the states in which ACORN ran registration drives this cycle, there were problems.  If anyone knows the other two states, let me know and I’ll issue an update.  If problems turn up in any of other states, let me know as well.

The 13 instances noted below are all from this election cycle.  All but the Washington case are from 2008.

Connecticut - falsifying/forging voter registration cards;

Florida - falsifying voter registration;

Indiana - falsifying/forging voter registration cards;

Michigan - dozens of fraudulent forms;

Missouri - falsifying voter registration applications;

Nevada - fraudulent registrations including two for Tony Romo and Terrell Owens of the Dallas Cowboys;

New Mexico - hiring felons to work on registration drives;

North Carolina - fraudulent registrations submitted;

Ohio -  one man ACORN registered to vote over 70 times;

Pennsylvania - $2k reward offered for ACORN temp charged with perjury, identity theft and vote fraud;

Texas - 40% of 27K registrations from Houston rejected;

Washington - worst case of registration fraud in state history;

Wisconsin - hiring felons as “special registration deputies” and falsifying registration forms.

The links above are just one link to the state’s story.  In several instances there are multiple reports on the same case and in a few instances, there are multiple cases of fraud in a single state.  The point is, this isn’t made up.  ACORN’s standard response seems to be the “We can’t be made to pay for what others do!” defense.  But they don’t seem to mind if we pay in their place.

With the news out the Obama campaign hired ACORN, paying them $800k for voter registration it seems likely the heat is not going to do anything but increase.  Stay tuned and stay informed.  Alert and knowledgeable citizens outflank 15 state strategies every time!

    Being told that I won’t vote for Obama because of the color of his skin, makes me angry. I am a Constitutionalist. However, everything about Obama’s race has very obviously been all about race. If we don’t vote for him, we’re racist. We don’t want to be known as racist, so guess what…the polls all say he’s winning. All except the zogby (sp.), which is usually the most accurate until the last few days before the race.

    Barack Obama took bribes from lobbyists to turn a blind eye with regard to Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae…that would have been enough for me not to cast a vote for him. How can I trust a leader who chose money in his pocket over the the good of our country? How do I elect a leader who has made it very clear, despite his words, that he will only represent those people who don’t have savings, don’t own homes, make money in their own business, in other words, if you are failing, he will represent you, but if you are not, he will make sure that you do. I’m in college, I don’t want to be a failure…that’s why I’m here.

    Joe the plumber doesn’t know a thing about taxes, except that he will have to pay them and that his objections will mean absolutely nothing to a Barack Obama who only represents those who don’t have the abilities that he has. No matter that he makes jobs for people with his abilities. No matter that he has worked years to get where he is, and instead of giving him a hand up, he gets stolen from. Because when tax and spend liberals come up with pork barrel earmarks and they expect the taxpayers to pay for them, that is theft. We ARE the people. And perhaps now more than at any other time in history, we are all very concerned about what these Obama’s (tax and spend liberals) are actually spending our money on.

    It had to occur to SOMEONE in all those Dem/lib Senators and house members, that if you give mortgages to people who can’t pay for them, it’s going to make a problem for the economy. Many of those Obama’s are attorneys and accountants…they have that kind of knowledge that Joe the Plumber doesn’t have. For the most part, they have a great knowledge of what it takes to fuel our economy. So how exactly did they get us in this mess?

    I submit to all of you that what was done was done on purpose. The tax and spend liberals have an agenda. They want to destroy our economy and create a socialist/communist economy. So how do we, in good conscience, elect an Obama? He has already proven that he is a tax and spend liberal.

    Barack Obama has a history of be affiliated with domestic terrorists, people who didn’t like the United States (Wright), ACORN with his millions of dollars in donations to a corporation that has already been charged with voter fraud in other elections, and in every case we’ve all given him a pass. He is a great speaker. I like the way he conducts himself…but I have to remind myself that a con artist has to be smooth and great talking or you wouldn’t trust him enough to allow yourself to be taken. Would you?

    Here are the facts. Banks make money by loaning to people and to other banks. Banks make alot of money on short-term loans in which banks make loans to other banks. For instance, if Joe the Plumber found a building for say $900,000, and he had only 24 hours to actually purchase that building at $850,000, he might go to the bank for a short term loan. His assets are such that he might get that loan, because his assets are not liquid…in other words he doesn’t have the money in cash, but he can get it in a few days.

    Okay, so he bank loans him this money at say 12% interest. The bank, in turn, goes to Bank Z and Bank M and borrows $400,000 at say 6% and $450,000 at say 7%, payable in 7 days, when Joe the plumber repays the $850,000 at 12% interest. So the banks makes their money from Joe and they make quite a bit of money from bank z and bank m.

    Congress knows this. So when those bad mortgages were sold with good ones, money was paid to the mortgage companies purchasing those mortgages. In turn, those companies that bought the paper, sold them or traded them to Chinese markets and other foriegn markets. When those mortgages were no good, our credit became bad. The banks began mistrusting one another because there was bad mortgages being used as cash and a great many of the banks held those mortgages and had paid out that cash and were now stuck with something that was worth air. So when one bank wanted credit from another, the banks didn’t know which banks were going to be there in a week, and they stopped lending to each other.

    Barack Obama wants to only pay the banks what the mortgages are worth now. So that means that the banks only get back a portion of what they lent. Great if you can get it…tax and spend liberal, spending someone else’s money after the fact. So his idea means to undermine our banks even further and to make more of our taxpayer monies go to pay for someone else’s mortgage.

    Mr. McCain wants to renegotiate at the amounts that the mortgages were actually sold at. That makes sense, since the banks have bought the mortgages at that rate and should not have to suffer the losses created by the Obama’s, in the persona of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae.

    The banks may lessen the payments, or give them lower payments, or not have variable rates or balloon payments, but the amounts actually owed on the mortgages will remain the same. To me that is fair and right. Obama wants something for nothing and the rest of us simply have to accept what is being rammed down our throats.

    Now, President Bush has bought all the bad paper by purchasing preferred stocks that the banks will have to purchase in return. Along with that purchase there is an understanding that the banks will begin lending again. For the moment, we have nationalized our banks. A very precarious position for us to be in with an Obama possibly being elected.

    We are in a position with this temporary nationalization that an Obama, with his something for nothing attitude, can come in and change everything and make us a socialist/communist country. THAT is the danger in electing Obama.

    He has promises us a reduction on taxes for 95% of us. If you actually add up the numbers and look at the deficit, you will actually begin to realize that it isn’t going to happen. Obama has already voted to raise taxes with the resumption of the what has become known as the Bush tax reduction. Obama has voted to raise taxes 97 times. It’s all a matter of record.

    And you have to remember…politicians all make promises until they get into office. Barack Obama is not lowering taxes on anyone. He gets no say…that is the say of the Congress. And if Obama is elected, then we have a Dem/lib/socialist/communist majority in the house and senate AND in the white house. You think about it….They don’t WANT our taxes lowered. They want POWER over our financial industry, our economics, our health and over you and I. They want a communist/socialist government and we will not even recognize our country when they are finished.

    These are the reason why I will not vote for Barack Obama or Joe Biden. None of them have anything to do with racisim or the color of skin. But I will tell you that I have a great many African American friends and they are delighted that Barack is even running and I am delighted for them. But this is not the one…he is not a messiah. He’s just a tax and spend liberal and con artist…who I happen to like very much on TV. Now if his philosophies were different…if he were who he pretends to be…If he had not hung out with people who didn’t like my country for most of his political life? I guess I would vote for him. But he isn’t and I can’t.
