6:29 of Blue Collar Muse Fame …
Posted by: Blue Collar Muse in 1st Amendment, Breaking News, Economics, Fair Tax, Family, Videowhich leaves me 8:31 more fame unless you are applying “estimation of crowd size” math in which case I have more like 13:31 left.
Why the snark? Because I’m trying to figure out how this crowd is probably accurately estimated at 1,700 to 2,000 (I know, most of them are sitting in seats, the exact number of which is known, which makes it much easier):
and this crowd (click twice to fully enlarge) is repeatedly estimated at 2,500 to almost 3,000?![]()
I’ll have more to say on this later as well as some thoughts on how those on the Left, especially Democratic Party politicians, missed out big time by choosing not to be involved. Lots of things to write about from the Tea Parties. For now, on to ME! This is from the Wilson County Tea Party and are essentially the same remarks I had at the Nashville rally. I hope you enjoy them!

The amphitheater seats 2,000 people. Then after adding the people on the sides, in the back of the place plus the people across the waterway, it would be closer to 3,000. Plus people were coming and going just as fast.

Congrats Ken on a job well done!
As I said in Knoxville at the Zach Wamp meet-up. You are the man.
Especially when you’re driving along in that big ole truck.

Awesome job, Ken. Boy did I miss a lot but I don’t think I was absolutely terrible for my first protest in my entire life and now I’m a right wing extremist because of it.

@Chris F …
Exactly! The same thing happened in Nashville! But too many folks have too widely varied numbers. I’ll be doing some personal research and get back to you all about the Nashville situation.
@ Sean and StephC
Thanks!

I was at the Knoxville event and I reported on my blog at least 1700. The covered seating at the amphitheater holds 800 people. The uncovered seating on the right in this picture holds about 200. There’s identical seating on the left. People standing all along the back and sides of the amphitheater were estimated at at least 500. I got my crowd estimates from police and event organizers and I’ve posted those numbers with attribution.
