I read the post again and didn’t see “the Liberals” in it. That said, I admittedly intended to lump “the Liberals” in with Captain Planet. I don’t think it is ridiculous, at least not in the same way you see it. I think it highlights the absurdity of most liberal causes, or at least the absurdity of their do as I say, not as I do approach. I also cannot refrain from poking at “the Liberals” because that would greatly reduce the enjoyment I get from doing this!

As for Global Warming, I am not convinced it is an issue. I am convinced that the climate is and always has been changing. I heard John Stossel make a good point about the climate change recently: “Who’s to say yesterday’s temperature was the best?”

I do however believe in conservation and being good stewards of the Earth, but not for the latest liberal hysterical alarm (see herpes, global cooling, world hunger, the whales, aids, etc.)

Anyway!
Global warming is an issue. We can’t exactly deny that it’s happening, whether we’re affecting it or not. However, is it not completely irrational to look away from the issue and go [i]ad hominem[/i] on the politicians who advocate methods of prevention? Should you not dissect the issues instead?

I do agree that these people should practice what they preach- by all means! This shouldn’t distract us from the issues, though.
