Why buy a ticket? and is Teddy Kennedy entitled to the presidency?

Published by Sam Pierce at 2:41 pm under CAII, General Common Sense, Politics

With the pressure from El Presidente Bush being applied to the Republicans in the senate to support SB 1348, or amnesty by another name, I am forced to wonder about two questions:

First, why buy a ticket? If you want to go to a concert and hear your favorite band… if you want to go to a game and support your home team… if you want to go to race and cheer your favorite driver, why buy a ticket? Don’t you believe you have a right to get into these events and facilities? If so, why should you pay for things you are rightfully entitled to?

Furthermore, the people that cannot afford the tickets might be willing to provide support for the band, team, or driver in ways that paying fans will not! Surely some of these events could be enjoyed as family activities. Who do the promoters think they are? How dare they deny family unification by not alowing families to enter without tickets?

I am simply horrified for these victims of money grubbing promoters, team owners, and venue owners!

Second, does Teddy “He who floats” Kennedy have the same name and relationship entitlement to the presidency that Hillary “it takes a socialist village” Clinton has? Perhaps El Presidente Bush believes he does. Perhaps Bush is allowing his last two years in the nation’s highest office to be Teddy’s by proxy presidency. We all know that Bush is a caring person and he knows there is nothing left for him to be elected to.

That must be it. Out of sympathy and the knowledge that Teddy coul never win the presidency, George W. Bush is allowing Teddy to navigate the bridge over the river of presidential decisions. I am concerned that President Bush has put all CITIZENS in position to suffer a fate similar to that of Mary Jo Kopekne.

Great point about having to buy a ticket to get in someplace, I hadn’t thought of it that way.
    Keep up the good work.
