Save America, stop Rullary Clintiani!
At Townhall.com John Hawkins has a column that gives the GOP a common sense, yet apparently little known ( or little cared about) warning. Far from being another Reagan, Hawkins aptly warns that “Giuliani would be our Bill Clinton.”
How have we let things deteriorate to the point at which the designated front runner for the Republican nomination is the one who could easily be in the other party? Is it that most people just don’t care enough to get involved and learn a little about the men and women who so desperately want to hold our nation’s highest office? Do most people think that someone who knows more than they do will take care of getting the best person nominated? Are we the people generally putting our trust in the media and despicable party elites to guide us on these matters?
I personally doubt that the former mayor of New York would even be considered for president if he hadn’t been in office on September 11, 2001. That tragic day was a turning point for our nation. The effects of the terrorist attacks of that day are still being felt around the world and if Rullary Clintiani wins the Republican nomination it will be yet another tragic effect from that same day.
I and others have previously pointed out the fact that Rullary’s nomination means that abortion, illegal immigration, and family values go away as issues in the coming election. Of course Rullary and his shills (Limbaugh & Hannity chief among them) will find it necessary to spin those subjects with hollow words. We the little people will be told to shut up and take it with explanations such as these:
“The mayor has now said we need to control the border and if he doesn’t we can make our voices heard like we did last spring.”
or
“The only real effect a President has on the issue of abortion is the judges he appoints and the mayor has said he will appoint strict constructionists.”
We do indeed have reason to be wary of Rullary’s promises. That is of course unless we don’t believe in wedding vows. I am assuming he made promises or vows to his first two wives that he provably did not keep. Some of the promises he didn’t keep to his second wife were apparently associated with questionable expense stashing in obscure NYC department budgets. The Politico.com has had a few articles on the questionable expenses, the latest of which, “Rudy calls billing ‘perfectly appropriate’” paints another Clintonesque portrait. Rullary and his people adopt a “Move along. There’s nothing to see here!” stance when it comes to allegations of stonewalling regarding how expenses for his security details ended up on the books of unrelated city departments. Naturally the mayor of New York requires a security detail. Apparently the fact that the mayor requires a security detail everywhere he goes automatically makes it appropriate for taxpayers to send his security team along for his extra-marital trysts with wife to be #3! These expenses were so appropriate that they were charged to obscure departments (make sense? didn’t think so!)
Now we get yet another similarity in the politically expedient lives of Election 08’s two top dogs (appropriate term.) Hillary is receiving a bump for the calm demeanor she displayed in an unscripted moment when a drunk nut took hostages at one of her campaign offices. My wife points out that Hillary’s calm would have been more impressive if Chelsea had been working in that office or if the situation wasn’t a golden opportunity to aid a slumping campaign. The terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 had a profound affect on everyone, but I doubt anyone can deny that without them, the former mayor would not be considered a front runner for the presidency. ***No conspiracy theories here, but also no sugar-coated denying that Clintiani is capitalizing on the attacks.***
Has our society decayed to such a degree that a majority of Republicans cannot be distinguished from a majority of Democrats. Both parties are apparently content in ignoring issues and positions to elect who they are told to elect.
Please do not allow the media and the elites decide who shall lead us!
