Editor of WND endorses Duncan Hunter!
A few days ago I wrote a post expressing support for Rep. Tom Tancredo’s decision to withdraw from the presidential race and his endorsement of Mitt Romney. Today I read something from a Tancredo supporter that made me almost cheer out loud. Joseph Farah, founder and editor of World Net Daily is enthusiastically supporting Rep. Duncan Hunter!
Today’s Between The Lines column explains why Mr. Farah believes Duncan Hunter is the right man for the job. It is refreshing to find support for what would seem to be an obvious choice. The more people wake up to the credentials of Rep. Duncan Hunter, the better chance reason has to overcome a somnambulant electorate. I can think of no explanation other than the voters sleep walking through the nomination process for the lack of awareness that threatens the Republican Party with Clintiani or Huckabee.
No one is perfect, but principled conservatives have a near-perfect candidate to entrust with the future of our nation. Some haven’t heard of Duncan Hunter. Fair enough, he doesn’t have a ton of money or Clintiani’s organization. He also doesn’t have the media and the Republican elites putting his candidacy out there as the hope of the party. The very reasons that he lacks media and elite support are the same reasons to support him:
***He would work on Fair Trade as opposed to the “Free Trade” that benefits some elites but hurts America. He believes China should not get away with cheating on trade and anybody with a job in manufacturing ought to think about that!
***He wrote the law to build The Hunter Fence which would hamper the businesses that hire low wage illegal labor (and also which the current despicable congressional majority has de-funded.)
***He is pro-life and has introduced legislation to recognize life beginning at conception.
***He wants The United States of America to regain its “arsenal of democracy” which would enhance our national security by manufacturing vital defense related items in our country!
***He doesn’t adhere to the politically correct pandering that helps a candidate garner attention.
The elites and the media don’t want you to vote for Rep. Duncan Hunter, do you always do what they tell you? Don’t let the media and elites decide who will lead us!
I have made statements on the internet in different places about the requirements I feel are needed to get my vote. #1 The candidate must be committed to enforcing the laws and Constitution of the USA, first priority. #2 The candidate must stand firm and enforce illegal immigration laws and be willing to Veto any legislation that would soften or underfund the enforcement of these laws. #3 The it would be highly desirable for the candidate to possess former Military Experience. (Actually prior Military Service should be an absolute requirement for President of the USA.
This statement has riled up alot of people whose candidates cannot measure up.
