A sad reminder of abortion’s potential toll

The Telegraph.co.uk headline reads “Artist Hanged herself after aborting her twins.”

Exerpt:

Emma Beck was found hanging at her home in Helston, Cornwall, on Feb 1 2007. She was declared dead early the following day - her 31st birthday.

Her suicide note read: “I told everyone I didn’t want to do it, even at the hospital. I was frightened, now it is too late. I died when my babies died. I want to be with my babies: they need me, no-one else does.” End Excerpt

Politicians should consider this lady’s death when pandering to abortion rights groups, particularly when it comes to parental consent legislation. Imagine Miss Beck was a thirteen year old girl driven to an abortion mill by the statutory rapist that impregnated her. She is frightened and doesn’t really want to have an abortion, but she is pressured into it. How can her parents best help her cope with her subsequent depression if the law provides a barrier to their awareness?

Pro-choice advocates refuse to acknowledge that the choice is made when one consents to sex and many of them believe the only choice is abortion. What type of person works at an abortion mill? I’ve never known one but assumptions can be made as to their opinions on the issue. Think about how pro-abortion one must be to actively participate in the performance or the coaxing of mothers into paying for the procedure. A procedure in which the most innocent of all is killed for the sake of convenience. Surely the “counselors” at these butcher shops are paid to ensure as many of the head herded through the door go through with the procedure as possible.

Miss Beck regretted her choice and could not cope with it afterward. She had no support, but you can bet the abortion mill she visited cares more about its fee than the well-being of its victim. How can elected officials (Barack Hussein Obama for one) vote against legislation to help protect children from suffering Miss Beck’s fate? Of course Obama voted against protecting children born alive during botched abortions, I wonder how many of his swooning fans are aware of this disgusting fact.

Abortion is the killing of a child. In Miss Beck’s case it resulted in three deaths. Is that enough for NOW, NARAL, The Clinton’s, and Obama?

Chertoff gets tough on virtual illegal aliens

Breitbart has a story about 28 miles of virtual fence that is going to be installed on the Arizona-Mexico border. Can Count Chertoff guarantee that his virtual fence would have kept out Alianiss Morales when she entered the United States, had one been installed at her point of entry?

This illegal alien was apparently in Minnesota doing work that an American could be doing, working for Jenno Foods. It is sad that displacing an American worker is not all Morales has done. Tuesday she ran a stop sign and collided with a school bus, killing four children. Why did this tragedy happen? A portion of the responsibility must be on the shoulders of our federal government. Chertoff has not been doing his job. This may well be the result of President Bush providing direction that superseded adequate performance of the duties Chertoff should have been executing. The bottom line is the fact that the job was not performed.

The Republican Party’s presumptive nominee for president has been an active obstruction to border security and the most recent amnesty bill was his namesake (along with the senior drunk driver from Taxachussets.) How many people out there wonder how we got to the point where no matter which party wins the presidency, illegal aliens will likely get amnesty and benefits for violating our laws? Perhaps the two major parties do not have the best interest of American citizens at heart. What a shock! Of course the majority of the electorate is distracted by other factors of their lives, some significant and others petty. The distracted majority is the recipe for disaster that will be prepared by our elite political “leaders!”

Chertoff spouts off about the effectiveness of the virtual fence, but the example he gives in the article seems to hinge on the fact that the prospective crossers gathered near the border. What if they hadn’t gathered and delayed crossing? If they had just crossed, we might have known how many had crossed, but they might not have been caught or chased back across the border. I suggest that a virtual fence might be of more use in some on-line game and could be used to keep out virtual illegal aliens. The unfortunate part is that virtual illegal aliens commit no crimes and don’t kill people.

Once again, when DHS spends our money on security it is actually wasting it on something that may be little more than a symbol designed to look like enforcement.

14 year goes to dance with child molester… where were the parents?

The story at FOXNews.com doesn’t give a clear picture of how a 14 year old girl ended up being escorted to a middle school dance by a convicted child molester. The little information given tells us that a 25 year old male, (he is not a man) Gregory Ray Brooks posed as a 17 year old and took a 14 year old to her school dance. Fortunately the school faculty at the door questioned the foul piece of trash as to his age.

Excerpt:

“He didn’t look like the 17-year-old he said he was,” Bridges said. “The faculty did an excellent job of monitoring who was coming in and catching this guy. They kept him from other students and maybe helped this young lady out of a bad situation.”

Police Capt. Marty Bruce said Brooks was convicted in Limestone County in May 2004 for first-degree sodomy on an 8-year-old victim.

In his arrest Friday, Brooks was charged with public intoxication and failure to comply with the community notification act by loitering on school property. He remained in the Limestone County Jail on $500 bond for the public intoxication charge and $5,000 bond on the community notification charge.

Bruce said Tuesday he did not know if Brooks had a lawyer.

Police said the teen did not know he was a sex offender and her mother came to get her at the dance.

There are so many issues and questions when something like this happens. The only mention of the girls parents was that her mother came to get her at the dance. What kind of parent or parents would allow their 14 year old daughter to go out with a 17 year old boy? What kind of parent would either not notice how old the boy appears to be or doesn’t bother to meet the boy that is going out with his or her daughter? The parents in this situation deserve a ton of scrutiny unless of course the girl lied about where she was going and with whom.

Another item that isn’t addressed is the fact that this disgusting scumbag raped an 8 year old and was roaming free to repeat his offense. Who can see this story and give a credible defense of our system of “justice?” This societal cancer should have been locked away permanently at a minimum! Castration followed by execution would have been appropriate following his first offense. Had this happened this 14 year old girl might not have been allowed into such a dangerous situation by her apparently grossly negligent parent(s).

The biggest question is, given the criminal “justice” system that favors the guilty (or as Hillary views them, “potential voters”) how young will Brooks’ next victim be?

McCain, Obama, & Clinton: Three Global Warming Hysterics!

There may be subtle differences between the top three presidential candidates but when it comes to saving the planet from the impending inferno created by the planet’s arch enemy, man, they are birds of a (red) feather. They see climate change as imminent doom and as they are in the elite class of super-citizens that can leap common sense in a single bound, they know it is up to them to take a stand. They must lend their illustrious names to whatever loony legislation is penned to cripple U.S. manufacturing and displace even more American workers. (How ironic that so many American workers support candidates that champion causes that endanger their jobs: illegal alien amnesty, greenhouse gas legislation, over regulation, and unfair trade.)

The following is a list of co-sponsors to S.280, Senator Lieberman’s “Climate Stewardship and Innovation Act of 2007:”
Sen Carper, Thomas R. [DE] - 1/29/2007
Sen Clinton, Hillary Rodham [NY] - 1/26/2007
Sen Coleman, Norm [MN] - 5/21/2007
Sen Collins, Susan M. [ME] - 1/12/2007
Sen Durbin, Richard [IL] - 1/12/2007
Sen Klobuchar, Amy [MN] - 7/11/2007
Sen Lincoln, Blanche L. [AR] - 1/12/2007
Sen McCain, John [AZ] - 1/12/2007
Sen Nelson, Bill [FL] - 1/30/2007
Sen Obama, Barack [IL] - 1/12/2007
Sen Snowe, Olympia J. [ME] - 1/12/2007

McCain is in good company there. Too few seem to notice how comfortable McCain is with joining liberals to fight freedom and harm the average citizen (American citizen, that is, McCain does look out for the interests of citizens of other countries.)

The three little libs have decided that they must give we commoners protection from the weather. They, of course being God-like, can control the climate! If only libs had existed during the last ice-age, there wouldn’t have been one. Naturally once these disciples of the bulbous Gore-acle succeed in changing our climate they will address the climate of Mars, but that is for the future. We are residing in the present and these liberals have found the key to cooling our planet.

In the grand tradition of big government liberals, these molesters of the taxpayer have decided to bestow upon the unwashed masses… drum roll please… even more bureaucracy! Hooray! Weshall be saved the unpleasant feeling of sweating on a hot day by the following which would be established by the legislation sponsored by these morons:

-The Climate Change Credit Corporation

-The Climate Technology Financing Board

-A nonprofit government sponsored enterprise for providing investment in private sector technologies that show promise for climate change adaptation and mitigation applications

-A program of public-private partnerships for climate innovation

-A national program to ensure that lessons learned and best practices concerning energy efficiency and GHG emission reductions are available to the public

-A program to reduce GHG emissions through deployment of energy efficiency measures by large commercial customers by providing for energy audits

I’m growing weary, but there is more. If you are interested in the plans of big government fools please visit The bill summary at The Library of Congress.

I do want to mention that this bureaucratic boondoggle is not completely without merit. The genius motivators’ plan “establishes a National Medal of Climate Stewardship Innovation.” Imagine the pride of joining Al “Love Story Inspiration” Gore as a recipient of an award for furthering the myth of anthropogenic climate change! I now know what I want my children to be when they grow up. Oh wait, by the time they grow up there will be a new crisis.

If you are a real glutton for buffoonery you can check out another of McCain’s buddy’s bills: “The American Climate Security Act of 2007” S.2191. This bit of legislative travesty has provisions for dealing with employees displaced as a result of this bill. At least they are admitting that their efforts will indeed cost Americans jobs. Perhaps if we could just convince these liberal jackasses that all carbon producing activities are performed by illegal aliens, they would back off!

Final Notice from the RNC

I received an envelope in the mail today with the red words “FINAL NOTICE” on the front. I was surprised to see that this envelope came from the Republican National Committee. Apparently I have not sent them my membership sustaining dues which would allow me the honor of calling myself a Republican in 2008.

How could I have neglected to financially support the organization that champions the values I hold so dear? The simple answer is that I certainly would renew my membership if the RNC was at all concerned with values. The RNC appears to be solely concerned with winning elections (and even that much is questionable.)

The RNC broadcasts its message that it does not need conservatives or their values, unless of course said conservatives will abandon their values and support the RNC. According to the notice I received “the Democrats have taken in $100 million more than the Republicans so far.” This statement is truly unfortunate. Although it is not quite as unfortunate as the fact that the line between Republican and Democrat is so blurred that it would be difficult differentiate between them. As evidence of this blurrin, I offer you John McAmnesty, the man who will be the Republican nominee and amazingly enough showed interest in being John Kerry’s running mate in 04!

Where was the RNC when McCain, Kennedy, and the rest wanted to back door amnesty for illegals last Spring? If memory serves, they were calling concerned citizens racist.

Maybe it isn’t such an honor to be able to refer to myself as a Republican in 2008. Even though I will likely succumb to the high pressure tactics of RNC supporters and cast my vote for the wrong candidate (McAmnesty,) I don’t think I will send the RNC another dime. Surely contributions can be put to better use by giving to individual campaigns and worthwhile charities.

Perhaps conservative values can be nurtured by focused support on conservative candidates and causes. The presidency is lost for the foreseeable future, but instead of giving up we can do something. We can make an effort to know about the people that ask for our contributions and our votes. We can campaign for and support those who share our values. We can raise our objections every time the bloated beast in Washington (or the state capitols for that matter) over step their bounds. We can continuously demand adherence to the Constitution. We can seek out a political party that can provide an alternative to the established powerhouses, and if we find one that espouses our ideals we can help it grow.

I would not ask anyone to support the Democrats nominee and I would not ask anyone to withhold support from the Republican nominee… this year. I would ask that conservatives consider de-funding the RNC. Let them get their donations from the corporations that sell Chinese goods. Let them get their donations from Mexico as payment for their role in maintaining the invasion on our sovereignty. Let them get their donations from Dubai, Saudi Arabia, and other foreign governments that depend on the RNC to put their interests above those of American citizens. Let them get their donations from the entities that work with them to bring about the North American Union.

Let the Republican National Committee know that we will not pay to have our values disregarded!

Twin Unborn Babies Save Mother’s Life, Loosen Tumor After Abortion Refused

Please read this wonderful story, linked to in the preceding line. The two little girls that recently celebrated their first birthday with their healthy mother are a testament to sacrificial love. This mother would not have had her cancer detected until some time later had she not been pregnant. She owes her life to the precious children she refused to abort. She tool a lowered dose of chemo and her healthy babies dislodged the tumor with their kicking! The girls were born bald as a result of the chemo and I’m sure their parents saw them as the most beautiful girls in the world.

Thank you Steve for giving us these wonderfully inspiring reports!

Willing to compromise with McCain on the presidency

I have been opposed to the nomination of John McCain since I became aware of his record as a Senator. I have voiced my opposition and have listened to the voices of others. Some have shared my concerns, some have no concerns, and some shared my concerns until they realized McCain would be the likely nominee. This last group has switched gears and is now threatening, berating, and insulting those with whom they formerly agreed. The notion of standing on principle is becoming so rare that some who earn their living speaking about such things are being forced to choose between practicing what they preach and changing what they preach to fit the RNC agenda.

I have an idea for a compromise that could be a win-win for all involved. McCain would get to be president and American conservatives would not have to sell their souls for the sake of the Republican Party.

John McCain has worked hard in the senate on behalf of citizens and he may deserve to be their president. Of course those who pay attention will realize that the citizens McCain has championed are the citizens of Mexico. My suggestion is that we work with Mexico to amend their constitution to allow a special election in which John McCain can be elected to the presidency. There will certainly be some challenges but think of the benefits.

For McCain:

He will get the presidential power for which he lusts.

His constituents will adore him as he has always fought hard on their behalf.

He can live in a temperate southwestern climate and not deal with D.C. weather.

He can sleep easier at night knowing that his battles against the citizens of The U.S. will be on behalf of the people he represents (as opposed to against the people he represents.)

He will get to be president for a bonus two years as the term for Mexico’s president is six years.

For Citizens of The United States:

We can rest a little easier knowing that a “Republican” president isn’t trying to push the global warming regulations that will eliminate countless manufacturing jobs.

We won’t have a “Republican” president who will be sure to appoint Supreme Court justices that will uphold McCain-Feingold.

We won’t have a “Republican” president that will carry on the porous border and let them all in policy of President Bush.

We won’t have a “Republican” president that will infect our prisons with islamic terrorists from Guantonamo.

We won’t have a “Republican” president that will force taxpayers to fund the defense of the previously mentioned terrorists.

We won’t have a “Republican” president that will oppose Right To Life groups that want to speak out against pro-abortion political allies of said president.

We won’t have a “Republican” president that thinks Hillary Clinton would be a good president.

We won’t have a “Republican” president that said he would obviously consider being John Kerry’s running mate.

We won’t have a “Republican” president to take the blame for policies of John McCain, and thus preclude a “Republican” presidency in 2012 or a Republican congressional majority in the near future.

So the next step is to ask Calderon to step down and begin the process of amending the constitution. I know its a long shot, but at this point I will cling to any remote hope. Article 84 of the Mexican Constitution may provide the place to start:

Article 84. In the event of the absolute disability of the President of the Republic, occurring during the first two years of his term, if the Congress is in session, it shall immediately constitute itself as an electoral college, and if there is at least two thirds of the total membership present, it shall name by secret ballot, and by an absolute majority of votes, an interim President; the same Congress shall issue, within ten days following the designation of the interim President, a call for the election of a President to complete the respective term; between the date of the call and that designated for holding the election, there must be an interval of not less than fourteen months nor more than eighteen.

Lets all do what we can to get them to accept McCain as the interim and subsequent elected president. How’s that for a compromise?

A sad society

I saw a headline about a transgendered third grader on Drudge and my heart sank. I clicked the link apprehensively and read the story. It turns out that the child is a second grader (not third) that is going to return to the school he once attended, but now as a girl.

This is where we are as a society. The moral relativism that meshes with the creeping political correctness plague has made it possible for children to be put in this position. Nothing is ever wrong. No feeling is ever abnormal. Whatever one thinks is his personal truth, no one can dispute. Nature does not exist (except when we can claim it is being destroyed by man.)

What if this child is transgendered as a result of “hip, cutting edge” parents who saw some sign of femininity in their son and nurtured the idea that he was born the wrong gender? I obviously don’t know if that is the case here, but I believe such things do happen. Regardless of the cause for this child believing he should be a girl, he is now going to be the center of attention at the elementary school to which he is returning. I have a hard time seeing how this can be good for this child. Will the looks he receives not bother him? Are 7 and 8 year olds in this particular part of the world so mature and understanding that teasing won’t be an issue?

There is also reason to be concerned about the mental and emotional well-being of the other students at this school. Subjecting 7 and 8 year old children to gender identity issues is despicable. I could not say if this society is more sick or sad. A society in which the perceived need of one child to be recognized as a girl (when he is a boy) is given precedence over the need of every other child in that school to have a normal childhood is not one to be proud of. I assume the counselor, administrators, and transgender groups that are working to make this happen are not considering the loss of innocence they will be inflicting upon their students.

I thank God my wife home schools our children! I can’t imagine sending them to an institution that would teach them to question their gender, which will be a likely consequence of this disturbing situation.

Republican Prostitution: Training Suggestions

My editorial posted at Right Side News:

The Republican Party seems intent on running Senator John McCain as its candidate for president in this year’s election. Although it will be clear to most intellectually honest observers that McCain would be a better fit on the Democrats’ ticket, we as Republicans are being pressured to conform to the suggestions of the establishment and support Senator McCain.

We are told that we are throwing away the rights that so many men died for if we do not vote for McCain. The RNC has its reasons for supporting Senator McCain and those of us that oppose his nomination had better fall in line.

This is intended to help those conservatives that have trouble coming to terms with the impending catastrophe that is a John McCain candidacy, do their duty as Republicans. (Disclaimer: This duty is very likely contradictory to your principles and values, but remember the RNC is smarter than you.)

I. Voting
You have the right to vote, but this right has limitations. You must vote Republican. Any votes cast for independents, Constitution Party, or like candidates will be viewed as betrayal of the RNC, The Wall Street Journal, La Raza, Linda Chavez, and The New York Times.

There are several months until the general election, so you have time to prepare for the unpleasant task the RNC has assigned you. You may want to leave dairy products un-refrigerated for several days before consuming them. You may want to bathe with less frequency than usual. Record Senator McCain’s speeches and replay them while tightening a c-clamp on your non-voting hand. This hopefully will numb you to the things this man says and the things he will do. Anything that makes you nauseated or uncomfortable will help you prepare for the act you are being asked to commit.

Shock! Linda Chavez likes McAmnesty!

Noted Townhall.com columnist and amnesty promoter Linda “La Raza” Chavez says that “John McCain is the only candidate who comes close to embodying Ronald Reagan’s spirit.

You may remember Linda as a vocal proponent of the great McCain-Kennedy destroy the border amnesty plan of 2007. You may also remember her disregarding the threat of Arizona’s tough new law against hiring illegals in the fact that it appeared to be effective!

It shouldn’t come as too much of a shock that this is part of what she admires in the Maverick from Arizona:

[Excerpt] And on most domestic and social issues, he’s more often right than wrong, including immigration. No matter who wins the nomination and, ultimately, the presidency, I predict we’ll get immigration reform in the next few years closer to what McCain proposed than anything his rivals are trumpeting now. In fact, what is most troubling about Huckabee and Romney’s current positions is that they appear to be pandering to win votes — and it hasn’t worked well as McCain’s wins in New Hampshire, South Carolina and Florida demonstrate. [End Excerpt]

She even touted McCain on national security… but of course she neglected to mention that his national security credentials only apply overseas! Leading the fight cram legislation down the throats of American citizens that would legalize potential terrorists (and other types of criminals) seems to me to be an act AGAINST national security! What national security interests are upheld by his insistence on moving the Guantonomo Bay detainees into the prison system, where they can enjoy taxpayer funded defense attorneys and spread their message of jihad? This is a man that wouldn’t want water dripped down the face of a terrorist to obtain information that could save thousands of American lives!

It seems fitting that he said he would consider being Kerry’s running mate and reportedly pursued that possibility in 2004. I believe he would be better suited for the Democrat ticket, which might explain The New York Times endorsement. But lets not discount McAmnesty as a conservative candidate, as Linda points out, he won four primaries. Strangely enough, she neglects to mention the “independent” voters in each of those four primaries. Oh well, as long as Linda’s open borders agenda can be furthered, why bother with little details?
