Fox Porn Channel?
Did Hugh Hefner buy Fox News Channel? Or perhaps it was the “Girls Gone Wild” guy? Surely there must be some logical reason that we can no longer have the television on Fox News with children in the room. I s it ever again going to be possible to turn on a news channel and not wonder if you are watching a late night infomercial for some raunchy DVD?
Why would a news channel promote the entertainment career of the Spitzer slut? I don’t doubt that the other channels are doing the very same thing, but Fox is the most personally disappointing as it is the one we normally watched (past tense intentional.) What is newsworthy about photos of the slut in a bikini? What is newsworthy about her desire for a music career?
The only informational value provided, unfortunately, is to young girls. Fox News Channel is illustrating one way a young girl might be able to get her fifteen minutes (or days) of fame. Want to be famous? We’ve shown you the Paris method, the Brittney method, and the Lindsay method. Now we give you a role model that technically is a whore! The “Culture Warrior” must be so proud.
Does Fox have a record label? If they do, they might as well sign the musical hooker to a contract so they can really cash in.
I hear what you’re saying. I honestly cannot even remember the last time I watched Fox News. We’ve recently upgraded to DVR and record shows we like and then watch them during prime time and fast forward through all the commercials.
I cannot express how nice it is to never have to watch commercials that objectify women and portray sex as something all youth should be engaging in.
Fast forward — it’s great.

Welcome back. This is the new theme Eric was talking about a while back. I’ve had it for maybe two weeks or so.
We use the DVR quite a bit too. We usually wait until about halfway through the show to start watching so we can cut through the crap.
That’s our strategy too!
