CEO of abortion mill chain expresses ironic safety concern
The grossly inappropriately named Aurora Health Center (Planned Parenthood’s Aurora, IL butcher shop) is the focus of protests and a lawsuit against the city of Aurora. The Chicago Sun-Times has an article, “Deal near to end Aurora abortion protest suit” that deals with the suit filed by pro-life activists regarding the infringement of their first amendment rights. The following bit of irony is from this article:
In a written statement, Steve Trombley, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood of Illinois, emphasized his concern for the safety of the clinic’s patients, staff and neighbors during these protests.
“We adamantly stress that the entrances to our health center are not the appropriate locations to stage any kind of debate over reproductive rights, no matter what position a group or individual takes,” Trombley wrote.
Trombley again refers to the abortion mill as a “health center,” which is a ridiculous misrepresentation at best. Any health benefits provided by this evil enterprise that profits from killing the most innocent among us , are negated by the execution of the facility’s main purpose (and sadly, the execution of innocent children.)
Trombley obviously isn’t concerned about the safety of the children that enter, although not willingly, his facility. Apparently he believes that the offering of information is dangerous. He could be right. I don’t think it is a safety issue, but imagine how dangerous a free flow of accurate information about real choice would be to the cash cow of Planned Parenthood! What if pregnant women are reached before the “deathscorts” take control? It is possible that a concerned pro-life advocate might give the woman reason to at least reconsider killing her child.
Information and concern would indeed be dangerous to Planned Parenthood’s bottom line, but hey at least they still soak up taxpayer funding (for non-abortion services, which of course allows them to focus their butcher shop income on expanding their abortion business.) This point brings us to Rep. Mike Pence’s (R - IN) amendment to defund Planned Parenthood. I urge everyone to call or write your representatives and ask them to support Congressman Pence and this common sense amendment.

There is absolutely no reason for tax dollars to fund such an evil organization.
Absolutely! As Rep. Pence says, there should be something like The Mexico City Policy for Title X spending.
