There are very few Democrats who actually would want such a thing, and Obama is definately not one of them. What Democrats want (and most sane people as well) is gun control, which includes such laws as a waiting period or a backgound check. While these things certainately may inconveniance some people, they also certainately save lives. As for the other things listed, excluding the abortion stance and the over-simplified votes, they appear to be very good things for bringing this country together and changing it.
