The Lieberman-Warner Bill was an even bigger joke and a smack in the face that would have resulted in even higher gas prices, a 44 percent increase in energy costs, and the exporting of even more American jobs to foreign soil. The Democrats aren't concerned with the little man; they're concerned with power and increasing the size of government through regulation and embedded taxes at the expense of the little man.
