One of my friends once wrote, “Conservatism has always been an independent movement of ideas. A political party is merely a vehicle to put those ideas into practice.” I could not agree more.

I don’t know what this blog will end up being. I have a passion for writing and sharing what I believe with others, so obviously that will be reflected here. To a certain degree, I know the truth. On the other hand, I am still searching. Translation: I know the truth that comes from Jesus Christ being my personal Lord and Savior, but I believe he has placed incredibly intelligent people on earth for me to learn from. I am confident in my spiritual beliefs and in most of my political views; however, I am also open to learning from people I respect and I see as godly individuals.

Also, I am learning Hebrew and I like it. Because I like it, I will inevitably try to use it here. Whenever I throw some Hebrew in here, I’ll put the translation. If you happen to know Hebrew and find a mistake, PLEASE correct me. I’m fine with seeming stupid in English because at least I know what’s going on (to some extent). In Hebrew, I’m clueless and that just doesn’t seem fair… does it?
