After listening to her whole speech, I'm forced to admit that you guys were right - it wasn't as outrageous as if you just heard the one-liner. I still wish she passed on making the joke, but it certainly wouldn't have worked without that word. That is, unless you enjoy watching and listening to Malkin acting so self righteous. Ann defended her comment superbly -- and she didn't even have to claim it was a botched joke. It was funny -- apparently every one thought so except for the self righteous HotAir corner -- and they're just better than that. Michelle was so grateful her kids didn't come along to CPAC or they might have heard the word faggot -- yet she has no problem with them hearing the term "John screw you McCain" or talking about whether or not some one has the "balls" on Fox News.
