Tieki's Mom,

If it makes you feel any better, I missed the "click on the question for an explanation" tip, too. Like you, now that I know about it, I'll have to give it another shot sometime.

Actually, mom, a lot of the questions were worded rather oddly, but if you clicked on them they were better explained. So, for instance, strongly supporting "teach family values in public schools" would mean that you agree with the following statement:

"Judeo-Christian values are American values. Belief in God is what America was founded upon, so praying in school or other public places does not violate the separation of church and state. Displaying the Ten Commandments is appropriate because they are the moral basis for Western law. The Pledge of Allegiance should continue to include the phrase "Under God.""

Etc.

I'm apparently no good at the quiz. My highest match (Duncan Hunter) was only 63%? Some of the questions were stinkers -- such as:

"teach family values in public schools" I had no opinion, just because you never know whose family values they would start to teach.

"mandatory Three Strike sentencing laws" I guess I was more in mood for one strike and you're out. Crime is not baseball and in the case of sexual predators ... well you get my point

"allow churches to provide welfare services" Are they not currently allowed this? Was I taking the right quiz?

Anyway, I had a 0% match with Hillary.

I must have clicked something wrong cause I got a 5% from the OH Congressman. However, he was at the bottom of my compatibility list; Hunter/Hines also at the top (immediately followed by Tancredo) with a Hard-Core Conservative classification. Whew! At least I did

I got a letter from Sen. Brownback (#4 on my list) the other day and today, urrr, yesterday I got a letter--with survey on conservatism in the Republican party--from Mr. Romney (#10, just before Rudy, and after Hagel???).
