It’s finally time. We’ve been here since 8AM (earlier in the case of many committee-people and candidates) and it is going on 5:30PM.
There have been some really stellar candidates today and others who are not so stellar. 
Alright, it looks like Fred Parady is preparing to make an announcement.
And here we go. The list of candidates that the WYGOP will submit to the Governor is…

- Barrasso
- Lummis
Shoot –I can hardly wait to see the votes. Glad Barrasso made it it. Now it’s up to Freudenthal
Is Barrasso pro-life. When he ran again for Senate long ago…he was definately pro-choice. Did he switch and is it genuie?
Can we expect the selection to be the one the Governor figures will have the least chance at reelection? ….. steve
Mom - I had to shut down my laptop pretty fast after the announcement to go take pictures for our delegation with the candidates, so I didn’t get a chance to put up the numbers. I’m sure they’re up at the CST though.
Bob - Barrasso is very strongly pro-life. He was the leader of the Laci Peterson Act in the WY Senate. He reintroduced it two times after it failed the first time, and it finally passed both chambers this year only to be vetoed by Freudenthal.
Steve - I’m going to mention this in my debriefing post tonight, but Freudenthal will absolutely have to select a strong, conservative Republican.
