If they charged the woman, too, I wouldn't shed many tears....

Yeah, it sounds heartless, but she's like Miss "I Don't Want to Move to Brooklyn and Buy Mayo at Costco."

If a little justice were to be served, the abortionist would get charged with manslaughter (at the least) for killing the wrong child and the mother would realize what she had done to her children.

I am always amazed at the level of narcissism required to believe abortion can ever be justified, let alone for such petty reasons!

If only women were more informed about the possibilities of botched abortions. They happen more often than the abortion advocates would lead us to believe.

Neil - You are exactly right. One thing that I've never been able to understand is how disability rights advocates refuse to take a stance on abortion. Sure, they'll say that children shouldn't be aborted simply because they're disabled, but as long as it's not discriminatory abortion is fine. Where is the logic in that? Why can't they realize that abortion targets the defenseless, it discriminates based on age and size.

Bridget - Those were my thoughts exactly. It is beyond my comprehension how a woman could do that. Like you said, she presumably wanted the "healthy" baby... wouldn't any mother in her right mind be heartbroken that her wanted child was killed and perhaps have a change of heart about the unwanted child? I don't know. I guess post-abortive women are in stressful positions, but still... I really can't understand it.

I am not sure whether to laugh (because it's so ridiculous and could not better highlight the moral cesspool that is the pro-abortion movement) or cry, because it's not enough for this woman to have deliberately killed one child (that she presumably wanted); she had to go back to have the second child done in again.

How tragic for both lives. What moral schizophrenia. How much clearer could the message that "we'd be better off if disabled people were dead" theme be?
