Although Columbus day was observed on Monday, today is actually the official holiday. I’m looking forward the usual protests on campus.

Over at Woman Honor Thyself, Angel has a great post up about Columbus Day and the liberal lies surrounding it.

The entire thing is worth the read, but I especially love that she starts off explaining how there was no “genocide” against the Indians. A couple weeks ago, a girl in my History of the Modern Middle East got her panties in a bundle when our professor started talking about the Turks’ genocide against the Armenians and how it was basically the first genocide in the world. This girl got all huffy and raised her hand, “Excuse me, but if you think that was the first genocide on earth - you have issues. Have you ever heard of the Native Americans? Yeah. Exactly.”
