Nevada Levee Breaks; 3,500 Being Rescued
FERNLEY, Nev. — Helicopters were rescuing Nevada residents from rooftops on Saturday after a levee broke, sending 3 feet of frigid water into hundreds of homes and endangering thousands.
Some 3,500 people were being evacuated in 26-degree weather as emergency crews worked to rescue the stranded after a 30-foot section of the levee broke along the Truckee Canal at 4:30 a.m.
Is it just me or is this Hurricane Katrina all over again? The white man has ignored global warming and plants bombs on the levees just to keep the black man down.

Isn’t it strange that it was just the black people in the city of New Orleans that were targeted by the white man generated hurricane? I suppose there were no black people in Mississippi… either that or Mississippi had reasonable leadership.
Nevada must not be worth Jesse and Al’s attention.
Ditto to San Diego. They had good leadership, which is why they managed to pull through the wildfire situation so well. They evacuated people in a reasonable manner, accomodated them, and managed to avoid what could have been a massive loss of life. Funny what happens when people are in charge of their own states, don’t rely on the Federal government like parasites rely upon their hosts, and actually prepare for natural disasters that are common to their area. It’s amazing.
I think the point is that awful things can happen anywhere. The situations differ only in how people respond! In New Orleans, a lot of people knew only how to depend on the government - unfortunately. In other areas - Nevada, San Diego, etc. - people are more accustomed to fending for themselves and don’t expect the government to solve all their problems.
