What incentive is there to develop cutting-edge treatment for Down's babies? support groups for parents? better educational programmes? Sam, I'm not sure about that, but it could well be that amniocentesis (or the newer technologies) would be used, and parents would be pressured to abort their babies with the breast cancer gene.
