Your Daily Dose of Sarah Barracuda Lovin’

Sarah Palin’s speech was watched by over 40 million people.  (PBS is not part of the Neilson ratings, but estimated its viewership at 3.9 million people.)  40% fewer cable news networks carried the RNC than the DNC.  More women than men tuned in to watch Palin.

The Catholic Thing laudes Palin for her true grit.

Sarah Palin biography, from Stop the ACLU.  Great stuff.  Hat tip: Neil.

Simon, longtime Palin supporter, has a “Sunday mixed bag” of Sarah-love. Look for photos of Palin’s speech in Colorado Springs (in an airport hanger); Palin rumours, debunked; Eugene Volokh destroying Gloria Steinem’s claim that SP opposes causes supported by a majority of women; and Patterico on “TaserGate.”

Then Simon really brings the good news.  Political polls are done over three days.  Palin’s (grand-slam, bottom of the ninth, two outs) speech was Wednesday night.  The first three-day post-speech polls came out today (Sunday)… and Gallup has McCain up 50-46 among registered voters, and 54-44 among all voters.  Also, click for people’s takes on the bias of the MSM.

JPennStar on how Sarah Palin is making the media show its true colours.

Speaking of media bias, the people of Wisconsin are doing their best impersonation of “Kill the beast! Kill the beast!

In the first leg of the “McCain Street USA” tour — which will take the Republican presidential nominee and his running mate, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, to small towns across the heartland — the 30 or so reporters and crew were walking back to their buses to join the McCain motorcade when hundreds of townspeople started yelling.Stop lying! You are all liars! Tell the truth!” one woman yelled from the front of the pack.

The crowd was not menacing or threatening, but was clearly angry.

You’re telling lies! Stop the lies!” one man yelled. Asked why the crowd was so angry, Linda J. Green of Mequon, Wisc., said: “I’m thinking the press is very biased.”

I think the press is very liberal and very slanted against the McCain-Palin ticket. Would you ask a man if his kids were being taken care of while he’s out campaigning?”

    Thanks for the link. :)

I find it interesting that it has only been women who’ve taken the time to link/quote my posts. I am thankful that the second link (this one) was a respectable site; the first one was from a stark liberal feminist who completely misunderstand my point of view; thus not respectable, but predictable.

    This is rather refreshing.

    PS: Go Palin. :)

    Roxeanne,

Off topic, but I am so happy! I’ve reached 80% of my contributions toward my goal of raising $2,200 for the Susan G. Komen Walk for the cure! Woo Hoo!

    So close!

Although I probably shouldn’t bother, as it sounds like a touch of the hem of Sarah’s garment is the perfect cure for breast cancer. ;-)

    Roxeanne,

I didn’t follow all of your links, but in your cataloging of all of the love people are showing to Sarah Palin, I think you missed the ones who are calling on people to vote for McCain/Palin, and then pray for McCain’s death.

    Now THATS love! :-)

I love the story about the people in WI calling the press out for being the lying liars that they are! I also LOVE how Sarah Palin has restored hope to the conservative members of the Republican Party and given us something to fight for. She consistently amazes me in her class and, for a so-called “Washington outsider”, so inexperienced as to have never appeared on the holy grail of MSM (Meet the Press), how she is completely sticking it to the media men. Love it. Love love love it. :)

Although I am pretty sure you didn’t mean to compare the people yelling at the press to a mob of peasants with torches.

    JPenn,

You’re welcome. :) Interesting that only women link to your site. Maybe the men just don’t care as much?

    tieki,

ROFL. That’s a great story, and she is freakin brilliant.

    GO SARAH!

It has only been a week and the Dems and liberal media are foaming at the mouth with confusion and anger. They are sending CNN reporters to Alaska to find any dirt on her and reporting it as if it is a scandal. For example, they found some environmental wacko who said she is not doing enough to protect the polar bears. Well I guess 80% of Alaska overal disagrees because that is her approval rating; “Hey Congress what is your approval rating… ~30%. Ouch!”

Even Biden is back peddling by saying explicitly Hillary Clinton was/is a better choice for VP; and Obama is calling in the Clintons - who could hardly help at this point. Palin is solidified the conservative and Republican base and the libs are running like headless chickens. Two Democrats have now compared Obama to Jesus Christ, because both were community organizers (in fact Christ was an carpenter), and Sarah Palin is Pontus Pilot, because they were both governors. < : O !

She is indeed brilliant because she is being a real human being - unheard of.
