As if the past few weeks have not bore enough resemblance to the Kozinski Kerfuffle, the Left has taken PDS to new lows when they hacked into the Palin’s email and published the contents online.  They even published Bristol Palin’s personal cell phone number and voicemail.

Yes, this is a federal felony as well as a state crime (in Alaska).  Bill O’Reilly calls upon the Attorney General to investigate.  For those who don’t mind delving into slime, here’s how they did it (spammed the email account, did a password recovery, and found enough info about her on the internet - birthday, zip code, where she met Todd - to reset her password).

Sick and vile in the extreme.

Now, because it’s apparently not enough for feminists to see a mother of five within striking distance of the White House, they have to make it very clear that she is bad for women.  The day after McCain announced his pick, six national women’s groups announced that they were supporting Obama - Obama who trashed Hillary, picked some old white guy to be his running mate, and now dismisses Palin as “unqualifed,” presumably in juxtaposition to himself.  That Obama, but hey, he’ll keep abortion legal.

There was also a great nugget in there about Republicans “appropriating” feminist symbols.  You can only “appropriate” that which is not yours, and, hate to break it to you, ladies, but you don’t own feminism.  Maybe it burns you to see a successful woman who does not bend to your will, but that isn’t our problem, and, as Cathy Young pointed out,women, like men, should be able to have a range of political opinions.  So who are the feminists now?

Speaking of Hillary: after hearing that Sarah Palin would also be in attendance, she canceled an appearance at a rally to protest Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.  Thanks, Hill; we’re all glad to know that it’s more important to protest Palin than a man who is ready to turn the Middle East into a nuclear power.
