You may have noticed a couple weeks back that my mom’s Sunflower Desert had a wonderful (custom theme) makeover thanks to MZ and now Haemet has received the same luxury treatment! MZ’s own websites always look creative and professional and she took the few ideas I had of what I wanted Haemet to look like and created the brilliance that you see now. (I’m obviously pleased with her work!)

As a side note, I’m just getting settled into dorm life and classes again. Hopefully more regular blogging will resume since summer madness is over. I’m always better at blogging when I have major papers and projects to procrastinate!

UPDATE 2: We still have no idea what’s going on with the comments. However, I did figure out that you can comment if you right-click within the comment box and start typing. I’ve also started a topic on the WP Support Forums, so hopefully the problem will be solved soon.

Some of you may be under the impression that I have been the laziest blogger ever for the past few weeks. This is patently false. Surely there must be others who post less than once every three weeks? 
This weekend, I decided to make the transition from Haemet Yeshachrer Otcha to ConservaBlogs.com.
I have to admit, the change is a little overwhelming. There is so much I don’t know about blogging and it seems like I’ve joined a rather impressive group of conservative bloggers. Can you say intimidating? At the same time, it is obviously rather exciting.
Over the next couple weeks, I will probably be experimenting quite a bit with themes and widgets, plug-ins and other bloggy things I haven’t the slightest clue about. So, don’t be surprised if Haemet has a face-lift every time you come back.
Hopefully Haemet will be back on track after this switch is completed and I stop changing time zones every couple weeks. I never thought I would say this, but after my insane time in DC — Cornell in the fall is actually sounding pretty nice.
Only not. It’s more like summer break, only still not.
Just to let everyone know, I’m going on a blogging hiatus for the week. I have a friend coming into town to visit for a few days and then I’m headed out east again. So, in the next 5-6 days there will be much fun-having, suitcase-packing, and plane-flying. Unfortunately, that doesn’t leave a lot of room for blog-writing.

So my blog is being a drama queen and not acting exactly like I want it to. This is just to let everyone know that if something looks a little screwy, I didn’t do it on purpose and I’m probably trying (unsuccessfully) to fix it.
On the to-do list:
- Find my blogroll. I don’t know why it won’t display.
- Figure out how to post a picture (i.e. a Pearls Before Swine strip)that doesn’t get cut off because of my layout.
- Master delayed posting… because as you’ve probably noticed, I blog in spurts and then disappear for days.
- Jazz everything up in general. Not that I have any idea what that means.
Boo.
Just a quick post to say that I am back! Alive, free, and with most of my GPA still intact. I am officially a junior in college now. How insane is that? (I’m pretty sure that out of all of you, my mom is going to be the only one really understanding that insanity, haha.)
Well, I plan to blog a little tonight and hopefully get back on track with current events in between stuffing my entire life into various boxes and Rubbermaid tubs before flying west on Tuesday.

Well, in two weeks and two days (not that I’m counting or anything), I will be back in the Wyo for summer break! Hopefully more regular blogging and commenting will take place at that point in time.
These next two weeks are filled with such fun activities like writing three final essays for my government classes, one final essay / reading project b’Ivrit, one final quiz, and one final exam. *So* excited, obviously. For this reason, I have decided to take an official break from Haemet until finals are over, which will be May 13th. The break is because I am too easily distracted. I would much rather spend hours reading blogs rather than writing essays, which is not exactly beneficial to my grades, so I’m going to try to cut it off all together until I’m finished with everything.
In case you are worried for my sanity (which you should be), I am going to have the tiniest bit of fun this Friday night in Rochester at a concert with Relient K, Mae, and Sherwood. Okay, by tiniest, I obviously mean the most fun ever because Mae is the best band in the world and Relient K and Sherwood aren’t too bad either.
Summary: Don’t be offended if I don’t read/comment at your blogs for the next couple weeks and don’t think I’ve fallen off the face of the earth either.
