As you probably already know, there’s a mega-fight scheduled to take place in Las Vegas tomorrow night between Oscar de la Hoya and Floyd Mayweather. What you might NOT know is that Nevada Sen. Harry Reid is a former amateur boxer who is giving fighting advice to de la Hoya.
According to Nevada GOP National Committeeman Joe Brown, who somehow got a transcript of Reid’s pre-fight “pep talk” yesterday, the majority leader advised de la Hoya that if he wasn’t way ahead by the sixth round tomorrow night, the fight was lost and he should just quit and go home.
