I spoke with First Lady Dawn Gibbons last evening at an event in the Larry Ruvo Stateroom at the Governor’s Mansion. She thanked me for thinking of her for the position of Republican National Committeewoman; however, she said that after seriously considering it she’s decided it would just be too much for her at this time. Which I understand completely, although I will note that it is a woman’s God-given right to change her mind as often as she pleases.
For now, though, the hunt for an alternative to the cantankerous Washoe County GOP chairman Heidi Smith goes on. I wonder what former First Lady Dema Guinn is doing these days?
