Don’t be surprised to see an ethics complaint filed any day now against Assemblywoman Francis “Fancy Pants” Allen (RINO-Las Vegas) in connection with her March wedding. No, not over the fact that she stiffed her florist for more than $5,000. Worse.
Word on the street is that Allen took almost $4,000 in free booze from a Las Vegas liquor retailer.
Why is that so bad? Other than the fact that - like those free Rolling Stones and NASCAR tickets she purloined a couple years ago - she never would have gotten this generous “gift” were she not an elected official. But Assemblywoman Fancy Pants also sits on the Judiciary Committee - the same committee which oversees legislation dealing with…you got it…liquor store regulation. Hello?
It gets worse. Reportedly, the liquor store owner felt pressured to give the $3,800 gift. I think in certain parts of the country that’s called “extortion.”
Fortunately, Republicans will once again have a challenger against Fancy Pants in the primary this year. The question is whether or not voters of this district will have finally had enough and toss Allen out on her self-serving kiester.
