Wayne Terhune, Jeff Greenspan and Mike Weber tried to get a court to do what the Nevada Republican Party refused to do: Give them legitimacy. The Paultards went to court on Friday asking the judge to block the state party from conducting its party affairs as the elected party leaders and party rules saw fit. The judge told ‘em to take a flying leap. Just as I said he would. Told you so. So let’s recap.
The Paultards attempted to take over the party convention last April with much sound and fury…and failed. They then tried to hold their own rogue convention with chest-pounding bravado…and failed. Then they tried to get a judge to let them take over the party, filled with high-falutin’ rhetoric over Roberts Rules or Order and other such nonsense…and failed. They’ll now either appeal to the Nevada Supreme Court…where they’ll fail…and/or they’ll complain to the Republican National Committee…where they’ll fail.
The word for today, boys and girls, is “Losers!”
The party wasted no time announcing that it was accepting the recommendations of the Nominating Committee and appointing 31 delegates to the GOP national convention in Minneapolis in September. Read more HERE on Chairwoman Sue Lowden’s blog.
