August 15, 1947. Independence Day for India.
Our state enjoys many blessings. One of those blessings is a strong and vibrant community of American citizens who are first and second generation Indians. To my good friends the Tiwaris, Guptas, Vahdwas, Pandeys, Barghavas, Bharwanis, Kumars, and so many more, I say “Happy Independence Day” from your friends in your adopted country.
