Rage Against The Machine
August 13th, 2006 at 1:05 am . by nukeNed Lamont, who defeated Joe Lieberman in last week’s Democrat Primary in Connecticut had some interesting things to say about the war on terror.
“Lamont, a businessman newcomer to the political stage, told Fox News Sunday the Iraq war is not connected to the war on terror.
Lamont defeated Lieberman, who is running now as an independent to hold his seat, largely on the strength of his opposition to the Iraq war, which Lieberman supports. “ source: Washington Times
Although Lamont conceded that “maybe we’ve had a wake-up call in the last couple of days,” he may find it very difficult to back up from the pacifist stand that so many on the hard left found appealing in the run-up to the primary voting.
To Ned and the Dems: Wake up! It’s easy to be “anti-war” Heck, we’re all anti-war. This isn’t Fantasyland, and the Islamic Fascists aren’t playing games.
