One of my cousins from Plaquemine, La., married an authentic French Coon-Ass, many years ago…Bubba. Such a very nice man, and he had that Cajun accent(tinged with French) that was a delight to listen to. He was basically a very quiet and shy person, and it embarrassed him when we would hammer on him to say something, just so we could hear that beautiful patois.

Well, my accent does leave a bit to be desired when breaking into the lumberjack song. Oh, I had occasion to talk to a man from Scotland who labors at the same company I do. Sigh. What a gorgeous accent.
