The case against Thong Nguyen “Cuc” Foshee highlights both Vietnam’s human rights record and the lingering passions of former refugees for the country they fled three decades ago. It also exposes the tension between the administration’s dual efforts to promote business and foster democracy.
Foshee, a prominent Republican supporter of Bush from Orlando, was seized by Vietnamese authorities in September 2005, a day after she arrived to attend the wedding of a nephew, according to her family.”…

There are two types of people in America, and it’s not Left or Right, Liberal or Conservative, Republican or Democrat. With regards to the critical issue of National Securty, it is simply this: There are those who get it, and there are those who don’t get it. I don’t blame Democrats for being weak on National Security. They don’t get it. They really don’t. The responsibility is with those of us who do get it, to not allow this issue to be neglected. Even now, as mid term elections just over a week away, the attention of a large part of the electorate is caught up in the distraction-of-the-day news cycle.
I’m tired of Mike Fox, Mark Foley, polls, negative news stories, and anything that allows us to become distracted, discouraged, and apathetic. Santorum’s speech brings a sharp focus on the true threat facing our country. I had intended to excerpt a few paragraphs, but excerpts just don’t do it justice. If you truly “get it” on National Security, then you need to take a few minutes and READ IT ALL.

Hey guys,
I have an iMac G5 running tiger 10.4.7 and I an having a wierd problem. Whenever I go to a site that has an embedded youtube, flash or some kind of video, there is no sound. If it a quicktime file there is no problem. There is not sound no matter what broswer I use, firefox, camino, safari, or shiira. And keep in mind that about a week ago I was not having this issue.
