If it’s “Morning In America,” will you still respect me?

with acknowledgements to an unkown cartoonist. This is the first political joke I can remember. I do not know who did it or where it was published but the gag stayed with me over the years. The original line was “I intend to do for you what Ronald Regan will do for America”. If you were the original cartoonist I tip my hat to you, and I trust you will forgive me re-using a great toon. regards — vimto

SW- That’s the Democrat set of promises to their constituents, with the same outcome as Vimto’s cartoon.

What, the Democrats are going to pay our rent, provide jewelry and naughty lingerie, and deny any knowledge of us to their spouses?

Excellent, Vimto! I may have a little project you may want to work on with me. It’s a 2006 version of Road to Serfdom cartoon. Updated from the 1940’s version by Hyak.
