Oh how ridiculous old man couldn’t barely get up the steps he’s is 69 years old one more week and he would have been to old by there laws to even hang and what did he do well he killed 1400 or so members of another group that was not in power that they were having an interior war with so we went in because of what? Well, he didn’t personally but his military did OK lets think on that I hope you get the thought. The nukes he had dam they weren’t found then we got him and what turned him over to his enemies to what to put them in power This is total bull. If he was to be tried he should have been tried here for what he supposedly had done that they never found so go figure. Same as our government they go in and kill people you hear nothing someone has to be in power as you can see there no better then before just the other side is at hand now. Has Bush been charge for all the citizens that were killed? wonder how many that was how about our men? A thought there? Where the hell is Ben Laden didn’t he order the hit on the trade buildings that was over 3000 Americans! Well that’s my opinion on it What ever

Most Popular Names … for Dogs

December 30th, 2006 at 10:20 am . by el nuko

The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene has just released its annual list of the most popular dog names. I will list them below and, just for kicks, I’ll put in parentheses each name’s rank among the most popular boy or girl baby names in the U.S. If a dog name doesn’t have a number next to it, that means it hasn’t been among the 1,000 most popular boy or girl names in the U.S. in the past 15 years.

1. Max (165)

2. Lucky

3. Princess (738)big-dogs.gif

4. Rocky (965)

5. Buddy

6. Coco

7. Daisy (149)

8. Lucy (174)

9. Lady

10. Shadow

I can’t believe Taco the Wonder Dog didn’t make the list.

I love a good cup of coffee when I’m out - and I always avoid Starbucks. Dreadful stuff, went in once and that was enough to convince me for life - how on earth did it get market dominance?

Well, SwampMan, in deference to my sickly condition, went and bought feed and brought it back for me today. His solicitude didn’t extend to unloading it, of course (I don’t know where it goes!) or feeding, so I shall go unload and stack the hay and feed and tend the poor neglected critters. Not that neglected, I suppose; the only ones that didn’t get their morning feed were the horses and they can glean some of the hay they’ve wasted.

A young lady gave me a Starbuck’s frappacino(sp?), and I just threw half of it away. It tastes like…medicine!
I guess that is a tangible difference, in the tastes of a true conservative, and an uber-liberal, like Michael Moron, as he suggested we should all sit down together and have one of those disgusting drinks.

A TOOTH FOR A MILLION TEETH!

Therefore, it is of political urgency to eliminate this symbol and put an end to any hopes and illusions of a return to the previous state of affairs. Due to the extreme personality cult that Saddam had cultivated, it would be difficult for “the enemy” to find a new convincing father figure. Also it is an act of defiance in the face of all the terrorists, the Bin Ladins & Co., the international chorus and etc. etc.; here we are stringing up your Saddam and you “can ride your highest horses” as the Iraqi proverb goes. We are not afraid of your car bombs, suicide bombers, I.E.D’s etc. etc.

awad al-Zubaidi, a victim who testified at Saddam’s trial and who was allowed to view the corpse during a private reception at Maliki’s office, said: “When I saw the body in the coffin, I cried. I remembered my three brothers and my father who he had killed. I approached the body and told him: ‘This is the well-deserved punishment of every tyrant.”

I’m waiting, but not breathlessly, for Ramsey Clark’s statement, concerning his client’s justifiable demise.
Here are a few of Clark’s(piss be upon him) in recent days:
21 Dec 06

Clark said that while executing Saddam would incite more violence in Baghdad and elsewhere in Iraq and the Middle East, removing U.S. forces would bring calm to the region.

“You will have less violence if you remove the U.S. troops immediately,” he said, promising to work toward bringing troops home immediately.

27 Dec 06

Deposed Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein’s life is in President Bush’s hands and should be spared, said former U.S. Attorney General Ramsey Clark on Wednesday.

Clark, a member of Saddam’s defense team, said the decision Bush makes following an Iraqi court’s rejection of Saddam’s appeal “will have long-term consequences for the peace and stability of Iraq, and for the rule of law as a means to peace.”

29 Dec 06

Kristinn Taylor, president of the local Free Republic chapter, was walking through the concourse of Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport on Wednesday afternoon when he spotted one of Saddam Hussein’s attorneys, Ramsey Clark, who was attorney general under President Lyndon B. Johnson.
“As we walked by each other in the uncrowded terminal, I made a slashing motion across my neck and said to him, ‘It’s too bad about Saddam,’ ” in reference to the deposed Iraqi tyrant’s failed judicial appeal to avert his death sentence.
At that point, he said, Mr. Clark “glanced back at me with a hangdog look and nodded his head in sad agreement.”

I will continue to follow any and all comments by Clark. He may be considered by some as a “long-time peace activist” or an “American contrarian,” but to me those adjectives are inadequate. I consider him to be Anti-American, a manipulator of legalisms for his own agenda, suffers from senility, and a supreme hypocrit. If America is such an evil force in the world, above all others, then he should renounce his citizenship, move to say…Zimbabwe, and forfeit all of his U.S. retirement pay and benefits, from his service as U.S. Attorney General.

Conjugal visits, cable television, supervised physical exercise, and maybe even Internet access would have made Saddam’s days tolerable, if not enjoyable.

But, alas, Saddam was captured in Iraq, not America. So instead of conjugal visits, large contingents of lawyers, and prison amenities worthy of a king, Saddam got—Ramsey Clark.

Perhaps the Lord does have a sense of humor, after all. That would explain the irony of Saddam Hussein having his very life boiling down to the competency of Ramsey Clark. That is a good one, Lord!

Executing the Law in Iraq.

N2L wrote “I would have recommended and upheld the death penalty, I take no pleasure in the death of a man and regret that it was necessary.”

I totally agree. Yet, and here is the paradox -it is that which makes an execution powerful - it should shock us folks - it should send out a message that this crime was evil and cannot and will not be tollerated,- see how we have to deal with it!?

Judicious use of the death penalty values life - over use devalues it. That is why I believe abolition of the death penalty devalues it’s citizens and contributes to moral relativism.

Religion of Peace targets Buddhists

December 29th, 2006 at 9:22 am . by el nuko

“This land must be separated between Muslims and the nonbelievers. This land must be liberated, and an Islamic system must be its foundation,” warned a leaflet recently distributed in the south that the Thai military showed to reporters.

“This is a land of war that is no different from Palestine and Afghanistan,” said the leaflet, signed by an obscure jihadist group known as the Islamic Warriors of Pattani State.

“This land is not the land of the Thais, but the land of Fathoni Darulsalam,” it said, using an old Arabic name for the mainly Muslim region of southern Thailand.

Other fliers instruct Muslims not to buy or benefit financially from lands abandoned by Buddhists, saying the properties will be distributed to needy Malays once the region is liberated from the “occupying Siamese,” according to a Bangkok newspaper, the Nation.

School burnings, beheadings in the name of allah. By the way, “land of war” translates into Dar Al Harb. Google it.

Kuwait’s Not to Forget Museum. An excerpt:

My guide stressed that poor front-line conscripts served as cannon fodder at the tip of the spear, while Republican Guard troops remained in reserve, primed to “bug out when necessary.” He believes that a significant motivation for the conflict was Saddam’s desire to maintain a grip on domestic power in the face of restless ethnic majorities; that Hussein started wars to minimize Iran’s influence on Iraq’s Shiites, to keep potential rebels occupied and diminished in a state of constant war, and enable them to pillage resources from other countries as he could and would not provide for them himself.

All-in-all, not a terrible theory.

Yep.
