The lawsuit by the imams is seeking damages from US Airways for their alleged discrimination. It is not against any passengers who reported “suspicious” activity in good faith, even when that “suspicious” behavior includes religiously mandated prayers.
According to the official complaint.
Defendants “John Does” were passengers at Minneapolis-St. Paul International
Airport who contacted U.S. Airways to report the alleged “suspicious” behavior of
Plaintiffs’ performing their prayer at the airport terminal on November 20, 2006.
Is it just me, or are those two quotes in direct contradiction of each other? Is their cair-fully worded “in good faith” the clue? How would c.a.i.r define “good faith” I wonder?
