China has banned Buddhist monks in Tibet from reincarnating without government permission. According to a statement issued by the State Administration for Religious Affairs, the law, which goes into effect next month and strictly stipulates the procedures by which one is to reincarnate, is “an important move to institutionalize management of reincarnation.”

Before anybody has a vision of me going shopping for red high heels, something sheer, and chocolate sauce, banish the thought, although SwampMan’s birthday IS this weekend. I need some paintbrushes, blue painters’ tape, and to look through the off-tinted bargain-priced paint without SwampMan protesting about ugly colors. Heh. Should I redo his bathroom in Pepto-Bismol pink with a flowery border, or would that cause him to get a not guilty verdict at his trial?

SwampMan is getting tossed baby greens salad and grilled wild salmon. He wants fried catfish and grits.
He bought new clothes today, and pointed out that I could use a wardrobe overhaul instead of another 5 gallons of paint.

Compromise.
Roll that salmon in some corn meal, and get out the grits.
Let me get this straight…you want to borrow money from him, and you are threatening to paint his bathroom the color of a San Francisco Bath House?

Grilled salmon marinated in whiskey and red peppers, garlic cheese grits, and a salad of assorted dark green leafy organically grown lettuces, shredded red cabbage, carrots, shredded parmesan cheese, and low-cal dressing, of which he would not even allow the salad on his plate to contaminate his grits.
Ewwwwww. I certainly didn’t mean for my menu to follow that!
