National Right to Life endorses Willard Scott look-alike

Frednecks from all over the blogosphere could be heard cracking open a cold Bud to toast the endorsement by National Right to Life, of Willard Scott look-alike, and Ronald Wilson re-incarnate wannabe, Fred Dalton Thompson.
Willard was unavailable for comment, but promised to have a statement after his nap.
A spokesman from NRL stated, on the condition of anonymity, “Willard did a 100 year old birthday salute for my mother in law. If we didn’t endorse him for President, I would never hear the end of it at home.”

This post was directed to a bunch of Fred supporters over at Free Republic who have done nothing but deride any Huckabee supporters.

I was just startled. Seemed a little out of character.
I’m not sure why anybody would want to deride Huckabee supporters, Romney supporters, Giuliani supporters, Thompson supporters, or indeed any of the candidates (except for the Ron Paul supporters).
