In last week’s debate in Florida, Gov. Romney responded to the flip-flop accusations with the words: “I can point to a very simple way to find out exactly where I stand, and that is look at my record as governor.”
Mmmmmmkay…..
Sphere: Related ContentAs governor, Mitt Romney issued an executive order forcing justices of the peace to perform homosexual weddings, or resign. Then he ordered marriage licenses changed to read “party A” and “party B” – instead of “husband” and “wife.”
As governor, Romney appointed a board member of the Lesbian and Gay Bar Association to the bench, and appointed more Democrat judges than Republicans.
As governor, Romney authored and signed a mandatory heath insurance plan backed by Ted Kennedy – including taxpayer-funded abortion on demand.
As governor, Romney overruled his own health department and forced Catholic hospitals to distribute the morning after abortion pill.
Homosexual marriage?
Tax-funded abortions?
Catholic hospital morning after pills?
Homosexual activist judges?
“Look at my record as governor.”

I can’t find the Exec order on the books. He also early on ordered the enforcement of the 1913 law and stood by publicly supported marriage defense amendment that was beaten by the legislature not Romney. Romney consistently appointed people that were best qualified for judgeships from the available pool. It is Mass. btw. The healthcare created an authority that did the abortion thing which was consistant with MGL prior to Mitt. All of Mitts line item vetoes were overturned by the 96% Dem Leg. Catholic hospitals and morning after. Hospitals in the state have an obligation to treat rape victims. As for your post about the end of the campaign yes the liar McCain will win with the assist from the next vp.
The only one that I know of that has expressed an interest in the VP slot is Fred Thompson. He would have had the top job if he had wanted it.
Huckabee is in this to win it. He still can. I think he should offer the VP slot to Romney, but I doubt he will.
