Fred endorses McCain

Fred Thompson gets the award for “Biggest Disappointment of the Primary Season.” The anti-climax occurred today.
“This is no longer about past preferences or differences. It is about what is best for our country and for me that means that Republican should close ranks behind John McCain,” Thompson said in a statement reported by the Associated Press.
Thanks for nothing Fred.

In all seriousness this did not surprise me in the least. After all Fred was blocking for McCain in SC.
