Breakthrough energy discovery?

March 18th, 2008 at 10:39 pm . by el nuko

Calling it “the ultimate recycling” project, a Georgia agricultural researcher says he has found the solution to the world’s energy crisis.

Using a process of genetic modification and cloning of bacterial organisms that is capable of large-scale conversion of bio-mass into hydrocarbons, researcher J. C. Bell has enlisted the help of Sen. Saxby Chambliss, Sen. Johnny Isakson, Rep. Jim Marshall, Rep. Jack Kingston, and Floyd Gabler, the deputy undersecretary of the USDA, to bring attention to his project.

Bell has patented the process and has formed a corporation named Bell Bio-Energy, Inc.

Quoting an old Chinese proverb, “He who burns his food goes hungry,” Bell said he never considered using ethanol for his research. Instead he concentrated on bio-mass and hydrocarbons. Bio-mass is any living or recently dead biological material. Hydrocarbon is an organic compound consisting entirely of hydrogen and carbon. Decomposed organic matter provides an abundance of carbon and hydrogen and is naturally occurring in crude oil.

Sources for bio-mass are the forestry industry, pulp plants, agriculture and waste derived from the construction and demolition industry. “We are only using waste products.” In fact, a USDA study projected it was possible to produce two billions tons of bio-mass that could be converted to hydrocarbon.

Bell says his groundbreaking discovery will require no modification to automobiles, oil pipelines or refineries as they exist today and could forever end the United States’ dependence on foreign oil.

Is this the “magic bullet” to solve the world’s thirst for energy?

Maybe.

Updated and Bumped
Momentum is building. Google hits 1,680,000 entries for the phrase “the greatest campaign finance scandal in American history.” Hillary Rodham Clinton is now at the top of the heap. Keep it going folks!

“the greatest campaign finance scandal in American history”

greatest-campaign-finance-scandal-in-american-history.jpgNow that this phrase has been published by a respected member of the MSM, and, as such, is now in the LexusNexis search database, it seems appropriate to associate that phrase with the person to whom it refers: Hillary Rodham Clinton.

I received a ping from FReeper “Spirit of Allegiance” this morning which pointed to an article which featured our pal, “Dougfromupland.”

The article was in the San Francisco Chronicle’s on line edition. Here is the introductory paragraph of the article about “the greatest campaign finance scandal in American history.”

In his other life, Douglas Cogan, 59, is a San Bernardino County commercial real estate broker. But for years, the conservative Republican has spent thousands of hours painstakingly researching what he calls “the greatest campaign finance scandal in American history” by a woman he calls one of the most dangerous political figures the country has ever seen - Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Since it appears that Google has enabled “google-bombing” again, I thought it might be interesting to get the phrase, “the greatest campaign finance scandal in American history,” permanently associated with Hillary Rodham Clinton. That is the purpose of this post. And, if any of you bloggers out there want to join in, just copy+paste this post at your blog, or pass it along in the comments section of your favorite blogs. The more the merrier. I’m going to track-post it to Linkfests, and post it at FR and Hannity. I’ll also activate every tag I have ever used to associate it with this post. Heh.

Thermal Energy Cell called “miracle energy tube”

September 16th, 2007 at 8:45 am . by el nuko

heatermos1509_468×475.jpgThe UK Daily Mail has an interesting article about a breakthrough product by a company called Ecowatts that seems to ‘create’ energy from virtually nothing. Does this sound too good to be true?

Even the makers of the device are at a loss to explain exactly how it works - but sceptical independent scientists carried out their own tests and discovered that the 12in x 2in tube really does produce far more heat energy than the electrical energy put in.

The device seems to break the fundamental physical law that energy cannot be created from nothing - but researchers believe it taps into a previously unrecognised source of energy, stored at a sub-atomic level within the hydrogen atoms in water.

From the company’s website…”The Thermal Energy Cell works in conjunction with a thermal store in order to provide a high efficient continual supply of hot water and room heating.

The TEC will have great advantages over other micro-generation systems in that it is a direct replacement for conventional gas, oil and electrical heating systems;

* The TEC will not be limited by the specific installation requirements experienced with PV, Solar Heating and Wind Turbines.
* The TEC, compared with ground source heat pumps, does not require a bore hole or a large area of land.
* The TEC is silent unlike air source heat pumps. ” source

The development of the groundbreaking technology results from a chance meeting between Ecowatts chairman Chris Davies, his wife Jane and an Irish inventor, Christopher Eccles, while the couple were on holiday near Shannon in 1998.

After the inventor showed the couple his laboratory experiments, Mrs Davies, immediately signed a £20,000 cheque on the bonnet of her car and handed it over to Mr Eccles.

He later became chief scientist of Ecowatts’ parent company Gardner Watts, but has since left after ‘falling out’ with the company, according to insiders. Sadly, Mrs Davies died three years ago, so she will be unable to share in the success of her husband’s development of the idea.

More on Kanzius saltwater-energy process

September 11th, 2007 at 9:26 am . by el nuko

Recent MSM reports on the Kanzius salt-water/hydrogen alternative energy process has given this story a new measure of public interest. Readers of this blog were informed of the developments some time ago.

New reporting from the AP shows independent verification of the Kanzius model:

Rustum Roy, a Penn State University chemist, has held demonstrations at his State College lab to confirm his own observations.

The radio frequencies act to weaken the bonds between the elements that make up salt water, releasing the hydrogen, Roy said. Once ignited, the hydrogen will burn as long as it is exposed to the frequencies, he said.

The discovery is “the most remarkable in water science in 100 years,” Roy said.

“This is the most abundant element in the world. It is everywhere,” Roy said. “Seeing it burn gives me the chills.”

Roy will meet this week with officials from the Department of Energy and the Department of Defense to try to obtain research funding.
