“the greatest campaign finance scandal in American history”
Now that this phrase has been published by a respected member of the MSM, and, as such, is now in the LexusNexis search database, it seems appropriate to associate that phrase with the person to whom it refers: Hillary Rodham Clinton.
I received a ping from FReeper “Spirit of Allegiance” this morning which pointed to an article which featured our pal, “Dougfromupland.”
The article was in the San Francisco Chronicle’s on line edition. Here is the introductory paragraph of the article about “the greatest campaign finance scandal in American history.”
In his other life, Douglas Cogan, 59, is a San Bernardino County commercial real estate broker. But for years, the conservative Republican has spent thousands of hours painstakingly researching what he calls “the greatest campaign finance scandal in American history” by a woman he calls one of the most dangerous political figures the country has ever seen - Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Since it appears that Google has enabled “google-bombing” again, I thought it might be interesting to get the phrase, “the greatest campaign finance scandal in American history,” permanently associated with Hillary Rodham Clinton. That is the purpose of this post. And, if any of you bloggers out there want to join in, just copy+paste this post at your blog, or pass it along in the comments section of your favorite blogs. The more the merrier. I’m going to track-post it to Linkfests, and post it at FR and Hannity. I’ll also activate every tag I have ever used to associate it with this post. Heh.

“because as I look around at the state of this nation and see all of the weak little pampered candy-asses that are whining about this or protesting that, I’d be afraid to leave the fate of this nation entirely up to them.” — A US soldier in Iraq stating why he re-enlisted.
I came across a great article in the American Thinker, by Ray Robison, titled Tales from the NRA convention.
In this article he describes the best speech given, bar none, and the speaker is nameless, and not listed on the NRA’s list of speakers.
But the best speaker of the day was not a politician, lobbyist, nor even an NRA official. The best speaker, hands down, was a young army NCO. Everyone I asked agreed with that assessment. I can’t express in words how amazingly his speech, his story, his utter love for this country moved me.
When he took the stage and began speaking unassuming, haltingly, somewhat softly spoken, I was concerned. I thought at the time as I later told him “I was feeling sorry for you speaking amongst such polished, intelligent speakers.” However, I quickly followed up with “you kicked their asses!”
I highly recommend that you read the entire article, and I should warn you, if you are a feeling and thinking human, having a Kleenex handy might be a good idea.
My thoughts on this article, after having a little time to process it, and read it again, is this. We are Blessed as a people, and as a nation, to have such brave and wonderful young men such as he, and we always have been, since the inception of this great nation. They just keep coming when we need them most, and not just them, but the wonderful people who love them, support them, and stand by them irrespective of the challenges.
The young NCO states he could never repay the debt he owes those who saved his life, nor can I or anyone ever repay them or this young man, who is the finest example of a patriot. He gives selflessly, faces any danger or hardship, and yet thanks those who support him.
It’s stories like these that I find inspiring, and why I use the remote whenever the latest entertainment news is foisted upon me. I don’t care about the silly superficial lifestyles that some do, but I recognize that it is because of men like this NCO, and others like him, that make the world safe for such distractions.
Quitters and losers will never understand this young man’s sacrifices, or the value he places on freedom and liberty. This young NCO illustrates to them their weakness and worthlessness in the daily struggle to remain free, so they attack the military, from the Commander in Chief on down. This young man never quit on us or his buddies, and we should never quit on them. God Bless this young man, God Bless all of our military service members, and God Bless America.
“The patriot volunteer, fighting for country and his rights, makes the most reliable soldier on earth.” — Stonewall Jackson
I’m tired of hearing about people sneaking into this country to do “jobs Americans won’t do.” The folks in this video earned their citizenship because they want to be Americans. They have earned my respect as well.
