Fred Thompson continues to gain ground as each new set of polls is released. The latest polls have Thompson in second place, trailing only Guilliani. Rudy’s lead has narrowed substantially, and Fred is now near a statistical tie with the Republican front runner.

FINALLY!
It appears that the long awaited “announcement” is just around the corner. Speculation seemed to center around a possible declaration over the July 4th holiday weekend.
Fred Thompson made it very clear today that he will be making his entry into the Presidential race very soon. He also made it very clear that his unconventional campaign will rely heavily on the “New Media” of the internet. He stated that he would be using the internet to “go directly to the people.”

Well, it was quite a predictable move !! Internet is now a very vital channel for any of such campaign.

Fred’s opinions are to the point and clear. He is a breath of fresh air, and people see his words as his. not his speech writers.
He certainly is not out-classed by any other unannounced or announced candidate. In fact, he out-classes the rest of the field. He is the right man for this moment in time.

Conservative views are popular and accepted by the majority of people if they are presented honestly and without apology. Conservative values are American values.
To summarize I think Fred Thompson is confident in his conservative ideals, and can clearly express them in a way that is neither threatening nor apologetic.
As you said, Donald, he is the right man for our times.
