Tennessee — Winchester authorities announced their success at shutting down a major international child porn operation in middle Tennessee this month that netted them one Gary Salles from Atlanta, Georgia. Salles is a long time gay activist and organizer of various charity operations for gays in Atlanta. He is also a self-professed pedophile.
Salles claims he is a photographer from Atlanta and is well known as a dance club photographer in the Atlanta gay community. Instead of legitimate photos, though, what got Salles in trouble was child pornography.
“To see the videos, firsthand, that he was sharing, that was exciting to him. For example, a 4-year-old being raped, molested. Ya know, he would really get excited,” said Chief Dennis Young, Winchester, TN, Police Department.
Salles also claimed to the undercover police that he had actual boys “for sale.”
Police Chief Dennis Young was monitoring surveillance video Saturday inside a Winchester motel when suspects Gary Salles and Mike Lattimore drove from Atlanta to offer up drugs, more than 450 computer files, images of children engaged in sexual acts, and according to police, a 13 or 14 year old boy for sale for $10,000, a 13 or 14 year old boy for sale for $10,000.
Salles was one of the chief organizers for the “Pearl Days” celebration that was supposed to have been held at the amusement park Six-Flags over Georgia 2008. The event was not held due to the financial improprieties of some of the members of the organizing committee. It seems that several thousand dollars that was raised by selling strings of plastic pearls turned up missing.
It appears that Six-Flags did not officially sanction the planning of Pearl Day saying that since the committee organizing the event was not a non-profit organization the amusement park could not deal with the group directly. But representatives of Six-Flags did attempt to work with the organizers of the gay celebration on scheduling and offered to answer all legal questions.
Six-Flags and corporations like it (Disney for instance) really must be extremely careful when dealing with these sorts of groups based on the prurient interests of the gay sexual lifestyle and culture. It is for this reason that people in the general public should immediately protest when corporations sanction directly or give a wink and a nod to such groups as that organizing the Pearl Day event in Georgia. Imagine, this Gary Salles creep lurking around those children out for a fun day at Six-Flags over Georgia? Is this what parents expect when they take their families to the park?
Fortunately, the police in Franklin County, Tennessee have started on the path that will put this scum-bag in jail. Let us also hope that his capture might lead to the rescue of the children he has exploited for too long.
To clarify, I would feel the same way about an event at Six-Flags to celebrate lesbian sex, heterosexual sex, or any other kind of sex themed event held where kids will be exposed to it. Any sex themed event is unsuitable for a public event.
